Day boarded here while on vacation in the area, friendly and organized staff and my dog enjoyed being there..will definitely utilize their services when in the area again...

Great Bay calls eight minutes before drop off at 8 to cancel grooming. This, after message reminders, get ready for your appointment, etc. Our corgi needs some sedation to curb his anxiety before grooming, so we can't be doing this and having them cancel out of the blue. Apparently there is a second groomer there that can't accommodate, what status does one need to have in Durham to get on that list? Our pup has always had a good experience, there have been no complaints or drama from our end, we've tipped well before, but we're not feeling the love there any longer. The last grooming was cursory for the money, there are better options out there.

My dog loves it here and he's pretty shy. I've brought my dog here for doggy day care for about 2 years and we've had no problems whatsoever. I really appreciate that they do a behavioral assessment on any new dogs to make sure everyone fits in and that they cap how many dogs they bring in to daycare each day to make sure everyone is safe. I also like that the dogs can go inside and outside as they please so I don't have to worry about him getting too cold or hot. The kennel will also (by appt.) take daycare dogs in for grooming so when I pick him up he's been groomed after daycare!

Over the past 6 years we have been using Great Bay Kennel for our 4 dogs! We have done day boarding, grooming for both our Bulldog and Great Pyrenees, as well as weekend and overnight boarding. The excitement our pups get when I pull into the parking lot is like no other! They jump out of the car and forget I even exist. Everyone at Great Bay is phenomenal and I cannot recommend them enough! They are attentive, kind, and love these dogs like they are their own. They make sure they feel safe and give them SO much love. I never worry about leaving my pups with them because I know that they are in great hands! The facility is SPOTLESS. I have never seen a cleaner kennel. The staff are always making sure their food dishes and kennels are clean. The bedding they provide is always clean and my pups LOVE the beds. Also, don’t be worried about your pups getting cold because their floors are heated and the facility is always at the best temperature! The groomers at the Kennel our beyond wonderful. My bulldog has severe skin allergies and they take such great care of her! She hates baths at home, but absolutely loves them here. My Great Pyrenees enjoys rolling in the dirt and is an absolut

My dog - 2.75 year old yellow lab - loves it here!! He goes to daycare once or twice a week, sometimes three times and has been for about 5 months. The team at the daycare are amazing! He always has a good day and is tired after - can sleep for our whole hour long ride home! The photos they post are awesome and let me know what he's doing and that he's having a great time! I especially love seeing him photographed with another dog he knows - they love to hang out together whether at day care or other places.
