In Greeley, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Colorado, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Greeley is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Traffic in Greeley peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I've been taking all of our dogs here for over 12 years, I don't trust anyone else. Our dogs always come out clean and happy!

I have called several times to see if they are pipe to make an appointment. Every time I call nobody answers. Their answering machine says to text and the would respond. Well the last time I called I text they read the message and still no response. I left a message the first time and still nobody got back to me! I guess they don’t want the business. So I’ll try elsewhere. I find this very unprofessional for a business. If you’re seeking reliability this isn’t the place. I mean you can’t even get through to them!

I highly recommend Grateful Dog grooming!!! We've been searching for a groomer since we moved to Colorado and have tried many, without ever finding a good fit. Until now! I will only be taking my dogs to Nicole or Susie from now on. Walking into the salon you can tell they truly love animals and their work. Nicole took amazing care with my 3 dogs and did a beautiful job with the one who needed the full bath and haircut. I am impressed and grateful that she was able to finish was all 3 dogs as fast as she did. It's awful having to leave them at a groomer for hours and hours. With Nicole that wasn't the case and none of the dogs were the least bit stressed when we left. That's an accomplishment! I've been searching for a groomer/ salon to give me the feeling I got from the groomer we used in Idaho, I finally found it. Grateful Dog grooming is a hidden gem that I only wish I'd found sooner! My dogs look and feel wonderful and their nails are gorgeous! I'm a very happy customer!!!
