Gracie Barra Franklin

We are loving the franklin location!!! Our son has been taught at the Belleview location but we recently moved and they have made it really easy to transfer and get my son acclimated to a new group of students and coaches. It’s a larger group but professor here has a great way of organizing the kids to still get an intentional group learning experience!

We love Gracie Barra Franklin! Our 4½ year-old son has had such a positive experience. The coaches do an incredible job balancing discipline with encouragement, helping the kids grow in both skill and confidence while having a great time. They genuinely care about each child and create a fun, respectful, and supportive environment. Our son also really loved participating in two different camps this summer. Great programs! We’re so thankful to be part of this community and highly recommend it to any family!

My 5 year old son has been training here for 8 months. He participates in other sports that are seasonal, but this is the activity that he looks forward to the most and the one we'll encourage him to stick with long term. The professors and coaches do such a great job with the children teaching them skills, discipline, and teamwork. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

We enrolled our 7-year-old in the kids' BJJ program at Gracie Barra Franklin about 6 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The instructors are patient and skilled with young children — they keep classes fun while building solid fundamentals, coordination, and discipline. Our son looks forward to every session, is picking up techniques quickly, and is showing more confidence already. The academy has a welcoming, family-friendly vibe with clean facilities. Highly recommend for any parents in the Franklin area looking for quality kids Jiu-Jitsu!

Gracie Barra Franklin is an outstanding academy! From day one, Professor Justin and Professor Chris have been incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. They create an environment where everyone feels supported, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner. Their love for the sport is evident in every class, and it makes training both challenging and enjoyable. I highly recommend Gracie Barra Franklin to anyone looking for high-quality instruction and an amazing team atmosphere!
