About Golden Paws Grooming

Golden Paws Grooming is one of the pet groomers listed in Brownsville, Texas. The business is registered at 1050 MacKintosh Dr Ste 4, Brownsville, TX 78521; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 am–4 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (956) 572-8172. Brownsville is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brownsville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I took my baby Oliver (orange, long haired cat) to get shaven here and everyone was so nice and they let me stay with him. He’s a very nervous cat and very vocal too so I was nervous bc he hates others handling him but he was so calm and he made it through the whole process without freaking out like I feared. They were so gentle and soothing with him. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a groomer who genuinely cares for animals.💖

Had an amazing first visit with my cat. They were gentle and cared about making sure my cat was not too uncomfortable during his bath. The best part is that you can be with your pet the entire time !! If you are trying to find a spot that genuinely cares about the safety of your pets , this is the place. The owner was extremely kind and gives a lot of insightful tips. My cat came back home super soft and with squeaky clean ears , I am very happy with the services that were provided. They handled my cat’s anxious moments very well , he came out calm and happy.

Took in my doodle for a bath and "sani-cut"; I was somewhat shocked when the owner invited me to stay with my dog, first time ever I've been allowed to stay. This made me so happy, and I know my dog was relieved too! The groomer was very professional and ensured I was satisfied. The groomer was telling me about his years of experience as a professional show dog groomer, and all the time he spent on the "show dog circuit". Highly recommend!

Excellent grooming services for my pets! I brought them in as a last minute walk-in and they did a great job at cleaning and de-matting my dirty fur-childrens coats. My dogs are ranch dogs and they are constantly getting mud and all sorts of stuff caught in their hair, they looked great afterwards! Golden Paws does an excellent job of working with your schedule and my babies came home happy and injury free.
