My family first found Gateway Pet Cemetery in 1981 when my best friend as a young boy passed away. The owner was extremely professional and helpful in our time of sorrow. Over the 45 years since Batman passed, the grounds have seen better days but recently, I visited the site and was overwhelmed by the beauty and peaceful feeling of the grounds. I was so happy to see my buddy at peace surrounded by girls, his dream 😉 in such a beautiful area. I highly recommend visiting Gateway for your family members and consider them in your time of need.

I brought my sweet boy to Gateway just hours after he passed from a sudden health decline. Gateway came highly recommended, and this time I chose cremation so I'd always have a piece of him with me—something I never got to do with my other pets, and I'm so glad I did this time. Drop-off was easy and gentle, and the staff were kind from the very first moment. There were a couple of small bumps along the way. I'd emailed a picture of him to be added to his urn, but it got missed, and I only learned that when I called to check in. A quick call from them to confirm they'd gotten it would have saved me some worry. Then, once everything was ready, I didn't get the notification I was expecting and had to reach out again myself. And just a small tip for other first-timers: The street sign is easy to miss from across the road, so keep an eye out. None of that took away from how genuinely cared for my boy and I felt throughout. Every phone call was warm and reassuring, and what they gave me back was so much more than I expected—a heartfelt poem, a cremation certificate, and the loveliest doggy paw print resting beside his ashes. Urns are a separate cost, but even so, it felt like a fair pr

I lost my two besties less than 6 months apart after being together for so long. As a veteran my dogs are so important to the healing I’ve been working on. My heart is broken but they helped doing a wonderful cremation and paw prints. I’m forever grateful to them despite all the pain I’m in. They did great. Thank you!!!

I shall forever be grateful to the entire staff for their compassion and handling of my beloved companions, Shanny and Grimm who passed from bone cancer within 3 weeks of one another. The turn around time was much quicker than I thought it would be. I was grateful that I could deliver their remains directly to them after having the local Humane Society euthanize them. It gave me a sense of completion of my duty to my loved ones.

Our family pet Edward (Maltese) passed away on 11/01/2021 around 12pm. I called Gateway Crematory around 2:30pm to ask if I could bring Edward today to have him cremated. The young lady that I spoke with informed me if I could bring him before 4:30pm that would not be a problem. My wife and I were at Gateway around 3:30pm and a young lady by the name of Rose helped us regarding our wishes with Edward to be cremated. Rose was very professional and respectful handling Edward. The next day (11/02/2021) we picked up the remains (Cremated) of Edwards around 2:45pm. Gateway had placed the cremated remains of Edward in a nice wooden box (Pictures attached with this review) with three rose petals. They also provided a beautifully worded poem, a certificate of Crematory for Edward, a paw print of Edward on clay with his name and heartful message from the staff at Gateway. This was and still is a difficult time for my family in losing Edward as a beloved family member. But Gateway has made a part of this journey a lot easier for my family with their professionalism and compassion regarding having Edward cremated. Everyone we dealt with at Gateway yesterday and today were helpful and courteo
