We did the one month board and train for our dog. Their results were great; no doubt are Gary and his team pros at what they do. I also appreciated their gentle and positive reinforcement philosophy. It’s clear they take great pride and care in what they do and they also love the animals they are entrusted with. The only reason I knocked off a star was because of their communication. Even though our dog was there SIX weeks we would get maybe one update a week. And I would always have to initiate the request for an update; they did not proactively tell me how our dog was doing. Not only that, I would often have to contact them numerous times just to get a reply. We hardly received any photos or videos (and again, I pretty much had to beg for these). As a dog parent leaving their dog somewhere new for so long this was often distressing to our kids, especially the first few weeks. Even after the board and train is done, I am struggling to get responses from them in regards to follow up grooming or boarding. Perhaps they are too busy and if that’s the case I hope they staff up as they do great work in general.

I brought my cavapoo here after noticing his fur was starting to knot badly around the harness area. The groomer explained that it happens often with softer coats and carefully worked through the tangles instead of shaving him down completely. I really appreciated that because I still wanted him fluffy for upcoming family photos. He came home smelling fresh, with clean paws and a nicely rounded face trim. Even my husband noticed immediately how much more comfortable and happy the dog seemed afterward.

I’ve been using Gary’s Dog Grooming for 6 years with these two puppies. GDG is always very sweet and gentle with the dogs. They are always excited when they see the building every 4-6 weeks. GDG’s full service is all inclusive. Every time I’ve asked if they would check ears, brush teeth, trim nails, etc., anything within reason they either said they already do it, or they added the service without extra charge. They keep great notes on each puppy, when one of my dogs started to have reactions to a shampoo, they switched to a more gentle soap at no extra cost. The next several visits, they made sure to mention they used the more gentle soap and checked up on our puppy several days later to make sure everything was good. We recently moved about 45 minutes away from Gary’s Grooming Blueash office. I asked if they had an east side office and unfortunately they do not at this time, however, we still make the trip every month. I highly recommend them

They are excellent with my pets. They look forward to going. My rescue dogs can get stressed easily but they are never stressed at Gary's Dog Grooming. Won't go anywhere else.

We are so thrilled to have found Nadia and Gary's Grooming. After having a pretty bad experince with our former groomer we were nervous. Then Covid hit. We could not find anyone. We were told our dogs have too much hair, they are too big. They never even met our babies! Gary's actually called me back. My pups look AMAZING! The care and grooming, the communication is paws down the BEST I have experienced in Cincinnati. We put on The Oakley Pup Crawl and we gve Gary's FIVE PAWS in the air! So happy to have a groomer we can trust to take care f our Luma, Bowser, and Princess Peach!
