About Furrs N' Purrs
Located at 159 Valley Rd, Clifton, NJ 07013, Furrs N' Purrs operates as a pet groomer serving Clifton in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–4 pm. It is closed on Thursday. Clifton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Clifton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Rosario and Esperanza were absolutely amazing with my dogs! They took both of my boys on short notice, including a puppy emergency after my little guy rolled in his own poop, and they took great care of them from start to finish. They were incredibly friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. Both dogs came home looking and smelling fantastic. I will definitely be bringing my boys back, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring groomer for their dogs!

The best staff, so patient and communicative. You can tell they love animals. I was so happy to see my feral rescue cat absolutely relaxed and loving on Rosaria while she was blow dried.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at this cat grooming service. Unfortunately, the grooming job was done very poorly. The cut was extremely uneven, and my cat had visible patches of hair missing. It honestly looked rushed and unprofessional. On top of that, they have been unresponsive to phone calls, which is frustrating when you’re trying to address concerns about your pet. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and customer service. It was definitely overpriced for the level of care provided. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

I recently had a positive experience at Furrs N'Purrs with my feline companion. The staff demonstrated a genuine commitment to my cat Stella's well-being throughout her visit. They provided attentive and gentle care, ensuring she felt comfortable. I was pleased with the professional and compassionate service offered. Upon my return to pick her up, I was met with a happy and healthy pet. This experience has certainly left a favorable impression. I would recommend their services to other cat owners. They truly understand how to care for our furry friends.

My senior dog is usually very anxious, but when I picked him up after his appointment today, he had a huge smile on his face! 💜 The groomer took care of him so well, and was very considerate about his skin condition. Grooming was done surprisingly quickly in comparison to my experiences with other salons, which I appreciate very much!! Overall, very happy with my experience and will definitely come again! ✨
