Missoula is in Montana, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. I found this vets office to be polite, but the vets highly dismissive and didn't give my 15 year old dog the attentive care she needs. The didn't even tell me she was about to go into cardiac failure. Thank God I went to another vet and they were swift informative and decisive. I would have lost her otherwise. I do not recommend.

On July 3, 2026, I was in desperate need of a veterinary appointment for my fur baby. Four Paws was able to get us in right away and provided the most compassionate care for both me and my sweet boy. I thought it would be a quick appointment and a prescription, but instead I received devastating news. I was faced with one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, and the entire staff treated us with incredible kindness, patience, and compassion. Our appointment went well past closing time, yet no one rushed us. They gave me all the time I needed to say one last goodbye to my baby, and that meant more than I can ever express. When I picked up his ashes, they were presented in the most beautiful memorial box, along with a heartfelt card and his precious paw print. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture that brought me comfort during an incredibly difficult time. The care and compassion the team at Four Paws showed during one of the worst days of my life will never be forgotten. There simply aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for the love and dignity they gave my sweet boy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I love this place they always are very attentive and I've never felt like my situation was brushed off. I initially switched to this vet a couple years ago when another in the area seemed to be price gouging us in a particularly hard time in our life with our late beloved kitty. I have been pleasantly surprised with the bill every time I take my kitties in. They are friendly and easy to work with, I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get in the very next day. While dealing with the stresses that comes with kitty health I've yet to have a bad experience here ❤️

I’ve been bringing my cat Bella here for a few years now, and the staff has always been kind and attentive. They take great care of her and are especially gentle now that she’s in her golden years. They’re always happy to answer questions and are very clear about pricing. I trust them completely with Bella and would bring any future pets here as well.
