For Pets' Sake

Got a full service groom for my Pomeranian, complete with a lion haircut for summer. My girl was pretty dirty and matted, and she came back perfect. The staff clearly cared a lot about doing a good job - they took detailed notes on what I wanted and had me send pictures. They were friendly and accommodating as well. Fantastic experience!

Update: Ophelia just had her second grooming appointment here. They were wonderful as usual. This time I did ask for a light trim all over and did fantastic. Ophelia still looked like herself, just with the weight of her coat lightened. Even though my girl is a squirmy wormy, they were able to trim down her paw pads, do her sanitary cut, and clean her ears and eyes. Ophelia is now snoozing contently and purring, no doubt feeling much better with a fresh trim. First grooming session! I was very satisfied. I was having a hard time finding affordable quality grooming for my recent rescue long-haired cat. I was impressed and reassured by the fact that For Pets’ Sake has a dedicated cat groomer specifically. Everyone in the shop was very kind and professional. Lee was so sweet with my cat. I got a standard cat grooming session which includes bath, brush, cut, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for $160. I asked them to skip the cut and just give her a sanitary cut in the back. She came home clean and refreshed and I was happy with the ear cleaning and nail trimming. Definitely recommend! Of course she is now grooming herself to put her own touches on it 😂

This place has such great groomers who put the animal's safety and care first. Melissa, the manager, is great and so caring and exemplifies great customer service every time I come! I appreciate them explaining about the severe matting and needing to go short. As i did my own research, I discovered that this is the best possible solution to avoid endangering the animal trying to demat and put them through trauma. Very caring and experienced groomers who care about safety more than just looks!

I’ve been taking my dog here for her entire life. Hazel is wonderful and careful and always remembers my baby. I don’t trust anyone else with my 9 lb morkie. I don’t even live nearby anymore and drive 30-45 minutes for these appointments.

I wouldn’t recommend this salon. I didn’t feel safe with my pet here. I had a first time appointment for my Persian cat last week at 7:30am. The shop wasn’t open and there was an outburst from an arriving employee, involving lots of cussing and throwing things. From that, there is only one groomer who does cats (which I wasn’t made aware of prior to booking) who showed up nearly 30 minutes late to my appointment and I had to remind her of a few things during the process. Overall, she didn’t seem very seasoned which made me hesitant, but I stayed the course. Moving on from that, the owners dogs run around OFF LEASH (one pictured in this review). Other arriving dogs the staff would let run to the back, but would place them in a secure spot (which still wasn’t great). The owners dogs though, roam around and get near the other dogs so beware of this. One jumped up with two paws on the grooming table my cat was on and only got a “oh don’t bother that kitty”. Even though they claim they aren’t aggressive, this doesn’t make people feel comfortable and for as long as they’ve been in business, you’d think they’d be more mindful of that. On the way out, they made me pay for a full groom even
