Food 4 Paws has a nice selection of quality products. It's nice to support small local pet supply stores.

I went to Food 4 paws to get some food for my dog who has many intolerance. I took the nutriscan results with me and handed my phone to Jan, so she could see the many intolerances he had. We both agreed he could have duck. She grabbed a bag of Farmina duck with melon. I took it home and started feeding it to my dog. Within a few days his ears started smelling, his muzzle got more sores, and he continued to lick his feet. I checked the ingredients in the kibble she recommended, and the 3rd ingredient was chicken fat. He has a very high intolerance to chicken. I ended up having to take him to the vet for an ear infection. We won't be going back. I made the mistake of trusting her after I show her the list of intolerances he had. My bad!

Food4Paws is a 10/10. We're so lucky to have a store like this in Cedar Rapids. We get a good quality brand of kibble for our dog and are so so so grateful we can find it locally. It's actually more affordable to buy it in store than to order it online from places like Chewey. It's also nice to be able to run in and pick up a natural remedy for your dog when an illness or injury pops up vs having to order that from a specialty seller online and wait for it in the mail. It's also so fun to let the kids pick out a random bag of treats here and there. I don't have to worry about micromanaging what they pick because Jana only carries the best quality. Everything is safe and healthy. She knows our dog and what he eats down to the kibble size and flavor we prefer which is so helpful when "Grandma" has been in the area and picked up food for us. She can just say "I'm here to get food for XYZ" and off she goes. Love love love.

Decided to try a healthier option of food for my lil beebe. He loves this food and goes running to the house when I say lets get dinner.

I cannot say enough about Jana and Food 4 Paws. She genuinely cares about all of her customers and their pets. She just researched a dog food brand for me when I had some questions about some changes they were making. She sent me an email with all the info. No one at a big box store or a hardware store would do this! She knows my pups and knows their needs. When one was having trouble post surgery, she had just the thing to get him nourished and start him eating normally again. This is the place to go for your dog or cat's needs to get the very best along with personalized service.
