I have fostered several cats through Felines and Friends and have been extremely impressed with the way they care for their cats. Many times I have brought a foster cat to their “furever” homes and thought “wow, this cat will be living better than I am!” They take great care in their screening process to make sure each cat is placed with a home that suits their personality and requirements. I have never once felt like one of the cats I fostered was going to anything other than the perfect home for their individual personality. Their care and concern shines through everything they do. As a foster, I appreciate their excellent communication and the way they will line up vet appointments as needed. I have been to their facility many times and it is always sparkling clean and cared for by kind and friendly folks. They really support their foster folks, and take the absolute best care of their cats. I can’t imagine this is an easy endeavor but they never cut corners and truly care for not only the cats, but the fosters, and the furever families.

Christine is phenomenal! No secrets… no fine print. She genuinely cares for the safety and well being of the sweet kitties in her care. The process to adopt my sweet little Kanobi was smooth, constant and open communication. They truly take the quality of life for both the cat being adopted and the animals/humans in the household to ensure a solid fit!

I’ve been fostering Ms.Jr for a year now, I renamed her Lily because I met her close to Easter 2024! My Easter Lily! I have felt so supported throughout my fostering experience with Felines and Friends! Mary comes out to give Lily her shot once a month and Lisa, as well as the whole team came together to help out with Lily and I when I was in a transition of moving out on my own for the first time; they were so kind and gracious to help with the initial pet deposit for my first apartment. Felines and Friends community has also been one of the first communities I met, moving to Santa Fe far from family in Central Louisiana and East Texas.Their help during my move was a sweet welcome to Santa Fe! Lily and I connected instantly and Felines and Friends goes above and beyond!

We first discovered felines and friends at an adoption event over the holidays. We had picked out a pair and were ready to swoop them up when we had a loss in the family. Their amazing foster parent (Susanna) was more than willing to continue to care for them until we were able to make it back to Santa Fe and bring them home. We had a great time getting to know the kittens for the first few months when the most loving of the pair took an unexpected turn and sadly had to be humanely euthanized. Lisa and Susanna were very supportive and when my family was ready they helped us quickly find a partner for our other kitten and expedited the process to get him home with the help of Kim.

We recently adopted from Felines & Friends and could not be happier with the experience. We were initially put off by the detailed, if not someone invasive, adoption application. But after you get past that, excellent communication from an army of volunteers. Were were eventually assigned an adoption coordinator (Lisa - amazing) who interviewed us to identify our adoption/pet needs and desires. A short time later we had appointments to meet several pairs of kittens and boom, now we are parents. These two kittens were found homeless in different parts of the state. Some insightful person put them together (they look like brothers) and they have been best friends since. The foster parent clearly excellent at socialization, these cats are amazing. The kittens were treated like royalty by F&F. All issues 100% resolved. Kittens arrived vaccinated, fixed, chipped in spectacular health. They want for nothing. Strongly recommend you adopt from and support this wonderful organization.
