Exit 96 Shine Truck & RV Wash (no appointments needed)

We were told about exit 96 shine had never been there before took our motorhome out there after getting some work done done on it we Were told that this was the place to go, so we tried it out. Did a good job on the exterior of our motorhome as we were driving out the dryers were so powerful. It blew the cover of our air conditioner off and landed on the ground and shattered it so now we have to replace it and it will cost us about $400 and nothing they can do about it go through the car wash at your own risk so we definitely won’t be going back there. It wasn’t what we thought it was.

Don’t waste your money if you have an RV! They charged me $80 for 10 minutes and didn’t even scrub off the wax residue from my waxing job that was applied 8 months earlier. I literally wiped off wax residue on my taillight with my thumb when I got home. I have no idea what the result would look like if I had a semi truck, but I will never go there again. I will break my own back washing it myself from now on.

So being up here in Montana you are very limited to where you can get your truck washed. Doing a show up in Whitefish so wanted to have a clean truck so I gave this place a try. Well this may be one of the worst jobs I’ve had & that’s saying something because there’s some terrible washes out there. First of all they didn’t open the hood & clean the frame, they don’t have any way to wash up high and get the front of my sleeper so it’s still dirty & full of bugs, crappy job on the stacks, didn’t wash my rear fenders, none of the mud flap weights, as you can see my tires are still dirty. They should change their name to Your Last Resort Truck Wash because it definitely isn’t a ‘Shine Truck Wash’.

This is a good wash. A little bit on the expensive side, but the employees did a good job. I brought in Prevost Entertainer and it looked great when done. Don’t be too discouraged by the gravel road. After your wash, it is a very short distance and it is oiled well. It’s a little tricky to find, so pay attention and follow the signs that they have put up. They do not open until 7 AM and there is no place to park early and wait. There are three different truck stops at exit 96, plenty of waiting room there.

4th visit here now and I love this truck wash! Dave and his team took real good care of the truck and it looks amazing. Make sure to ask about the punch cards!! First time here and I just wanted to express a HUGE thank you to everyone at Exit 96 Shine for doing an amazing job on “Big Bird”! I blew an oil line recently on the turbo and oil sprayed everywhere under the truck and onto the tanker, I came in for a regular wash with degreaser (no acid used) and it turned out absolutely amazing! Loves’ motto is “Clean places and friendly faces” and Exit 96 Shine really matched our motto making this truck look super clean with their friendly staff hard at work. The young lady at the office was really nice and professional as well. This is definitely going to be the only truck wash I go to from here on out!!
