About Doozydog! Club

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Washington is in District of Columbia, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Washington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Very friendly people but there’s a total disregard for one’s time that is frustrating and disappointing. Brought two small dogs in to be groomed. On both occasions I was told to come back 30 minutes after the time THEY told me to come back at. A phone call seems like the decent thing to do in those cases but it didn’t occur to them. I hurried back to retrieve my second dog within the hour - as instructed by their staff. It’s been two hours now. I am still waiting. Their app says my dog was returned to me (not true.) and my card was billed (true.)

My pup has severe separation anxiety and this is the only place he can go where he doesn’t get anxious. Every staff member knows him as soon as we walk in and my dog instantly gets excited. It’s great to have a place you trust. If you’re going for grooming Shake is the absolute best! We get stopped on the street constantly by people asking who cuts his hair after groomings. She’s also so sweet and it’s so comforting to know my anxious guy actually enjoys his time shake.

I’ve been taking my 13-year-old dog, Miles, to Doozy Dog Club for grooming, and I’ve had consistently great experiences. He’s not a social dog and definitely not a fan of haircuts, so I’m pretty particular about where I take him. At this point, I believe I’ve worked with most of the groomers there, and I haven’t had a single issue. Everyone does a great job and follows my instructions really well, which I appreciate. The grooming usually takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, which works perfectly for him. It’s quick enough that he’s not overly stressed, and the whole process feels efficient without being rushed. Even though Miles doesn’t enjoy getting groomed, he doesn’t put up much of a fight there, which tells me they know how to handle dogs like him. That alone gives me a lot of confidence. I’ve only used them for grooming (they do offer other services), but for what I need, they’ve been reliable and consistent every time. Definitely recommend, especially if you have a dog that isn’t the easiest when it comes to grooming.

We've had such great experiences grooming our dog at Doozydog! We have a poodle/doodle and he has separation anxiety, and we are very comfortable and our puppy is treated so well, he does great. Also, we're very picky how we want him to look and they always do an exceptional job and he comes out looking great and also emotionally stable, haha! We also love that it is reasonably priced and they have a high standard of making sure our dog has all his shots and so we feel very safe bringing him here. I highly recommend!
