Domino Service Dogs

Domino Service Dogs (DSD) is a Lakewood, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the prohibitive financial, physical, and systemic barriers to service dog ownership. Operating under a "by us, for us" disability-led model, DSD empowers individuals with disabilities to train their own service dogs through a structured 2-year owner-trainer program. By utilizing 100% force-free, evidence-based, reward-based techniques—such as clicker training—DSD eliminates traditional $35,000–$45,000 agency costs and multi-year waitlists while building independence, community, and public access rights
