Dogtopia of Olathe

So, to be fair, our 3 dogs have not yet stayed at Dogtopia in Olathe (@119th). However, we were looking for a new doggie daycare and boarding place and had read good things about it. I walked in about 1pm on Saturday 7-11, and there was a 16 or 17 year old girl behind the counter. No one else in sight. She was on her phone and I walked up to the counter and stood there for at least 30-40 seconds before she bothered to look up. When she finally spoke she said “yeah, who are you here for.” I said I had come in to get information and she just stared at me. I said “ is this what you call customer service?” She just said “sorry” and literally check her phone again in front of me. I would NEVER trust my beloved dogs with a person like this - and no one else was within sight the whole time. How could I trust this place? Be cautious people- dog care and their safety is more than a part-time teenager’s summer job.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Our dog, Bennie, absolutely loves spending time there. The staff is incredibly friendly and he gets so excited when we pull up. The staff know him by name when he walks in. They def do a great job keeping the dogs busy because Bennie is always tired when he gets home from a fun day at Dogtopia. They are also the only ones I trust for boarding because I know they will give him great care while we are gone.

My German Shepherd absolutely loves going to Dogtopia. She loves to play with the other dogs. I always know she’s getting a lot of exercise and having fun while being supervised. Some of the staff that I’ve worked directly with her go way above and beyond to love her which makes this dog mom so happy. It is a pleasure taking my dog there several times a week! One of my favorite parts is the special days they do. This summer they had pool day. On the Fourth of July they had picture day in which they dressed the dogs with a bandanna and an Americana background. They even celebrated her birthday! I couldn’t be happier!

Merlyn loves Dogtopia! And I love that he loves it. He is so happy to get out of the car there every day. They do special activities and take pics for pet parents. He's so tired when he comes home, and always looks like he's having a blast when I check in on him via Webcam.

My pup Lorelei has gone to Dogtopia of Olathe for 3 months and has loved ever single day! She loves climbing on the jungle gym,the special days they give surprise treats (they ask for your permission in the morning), loves being a dog greeter, and the staff!! The staff always makes her smell nice when it’s time to go home, clean up her eye goop, and take care of her like their own! I love that they take pictures and give report cards when asked about dogs she liked playing with and always will go the extra mile for any special requests. As you can see, she’s exhausted when she comes home from dogtopia!! Thank you all!!
