Dogtopia of Highland Village

My dogs had stayed at the Dogtopia Highland Village location for several years; however, over the last year, or more, once they got new ownership, the cleanliness has been awful and my dogs kept coming home smelling like urine... like the floors in the playrooms were not being cleaned properly. In addition, the site covered the front reception area windows where we used to be able to see the dogs playing, so seemed like lack of transparency for clients seeing the care of their own dogs. The cameras also kept 'breaking' so clients couldn't see the dogs in the daycare playrooms. Also, I had previously had grooming and baths done there with no issues. However, the last time, one of my dog's coats was completely ruined with severe matting in the hair. It took me a week to get all the mats out all over body, and I had to pay a different groomer elsewhere to redo the grooming I had already paid to have done by Dogtopia... such a terrible experience there and should have stopped using them a year ago. I wouldn't wish this place on any fur baby ever!

My son has been taking his dog there since before corporate took over. Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service has drastically declined while the prices have continued to increase. It now feels like we are paying much more and receiving much less in return. The manager they had was unresponsive and often seemed like she didn’t know what she was talking about. Almost every time I came to pick up my son’s dog, she was sitting around on her phone instead of interacting with customers or helping her staff. It gave the impression that management was disconnected from what was actually happening in the facility. Now both she and her assistant have left, which only adds to the instability and high turnover that customers have witnessed. As a long-time customer, it’s disappointing to see how much things have changed. What was once a place we trusted and felt comfortable using now feels overpriced, poorly managed, and lacking the consistency it once had. I hope the company takes customer concerns seriously and works to improve the experience for both pets and their owners.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Riggs and Ranger had baths and de-shedding treatments at Dogtopia Highland Village, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They came home clean, soft, and smelling great—and amazingly, there was virtually no shedding afterward. The staff are always friendly, professional, and take wonderful care of our boys. We wouldn’t use anyone else and highly recommend Dogtopia Highland Village! 🐾💕

We absolutely adore Dogtopia of Highland Village! My pup has been going there for daycare services for almost a full year. My dog is so excited every morning, she can hardly wait to get in through their front door! The staff is wonderful, they show my dog big love and keep me well informed through out the day if need be. From the fun activities they do with the dogs to the adorable photos they send me, everything is top notch and my dog comes home happy everyday. Thank you Dogtopia of Highland Village for giving my dog a safe, clean, and fun place to go everyday!

***UPDATE: Corporate Dogtopia took over and raised the prices drastically. I went from paying $56/day per dog to $80/day per dog. Both the manager and her assistant left because they couldn't stay when the customer service went out the door. Highly recommend you look elsewhere. We have left.***Fantastic experience and way less expensive than other locations. They not only love on my two furbabies but they also keep in communication and I feel part of the Dogtopia family of dog parents. Highly recommended
