Dog's Life On Damen

Lots of staff turnover here. Bad communication. Nobody ever answers the phone or returns my calls, which is why I’ve never been able to actually book boarding. There is one guy who works mornings who is incredibly rude and short. I don’t know why he is even in customer service. The place could use a deep cleaning; I’ve been to plenty of dog daycares, but this one takes the cake for how awful it smells. They have no method to track dog vaccinations. I was asked to show papers my first time there, but I’ve never been asked to show my dog has had his annual vaccinations. This is concerning given the recent rabies outbreak in the area. I also learned from an ex employee that they sometimes board rescues, but this is not a rescue shelter. Based on all of these experiences, I will no longer take my dog here. Edit: It’s amazing that you don’t respond to voicemails or emails, but you waste no time when there is a rating involved. Expressing my confusion and dissatisfaction is not the same as being verbally abusive. There was no name calling, no threats, nothing of the sort. Don’t pretend like there was. Bringing up the “expired” package and telling me that I was emailed and called about

Our dog just recently started attending daycare here, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff are so friendly and have personally sent me photos that they took of her during playtime. I was extremely anxious about leaving her the first time, but I am reassured by the fact that she is super excited every time I mention the word daycare! So happy to have found this hidden gem.

I have relied on a Dog's Life on Damen for over 15 years. The staff take care of your dog as if they are their own, and they have exceptional daycare and boarding services. Karin is extremely knowledgeable about all dog breeds, making you feel comfortable that your dog is in good hands. A tired dog is a happy dog. Daycare at a Dog's Life makes a positive difference in their life, and yours.

Dog's Life on Damen is a gem!!! I frequently travel to the Chicago area with my dog, and I'm so happy to have found such a caring place to board him. The staff are wonderful and truly love all the dogs that they take care of in daycare and boarding. I've now boarded my pup with them a few times. He's always excited to see the staff when I drop him off, which is a big deal for him. He doesn't like everyone lol.

Is there anyway I can give this place 10 out of 5 stars? This place is a perfect home away from home for your pets. We've been taking Remi there since he was a puppy. It seems like he's quite a social guy, as the staff knows who he is and always has a good story to share about his day. The team of Dogs Life on Damen is made up of a staff of friendly and caring people. As a bonus, they also take pictures of all the dogs that come through and share them in a weekly Facebook upload. From the photos alone, you'll be able to tell how happy these puppies are to be at Dogs Life.
