Dogromat

I have been bringing my dog to Dogmamat since Dec '24 for dog grooming, and up until my most recent visit, I had nothing but positive things to say. It pains me to write this as I always enjoyed my experiences there. The front desk staff was always kind, and the groomers consistently told me what a sweet, gentle pleasure my dog was. That completely changed during our last appointment. My dog is a 20-lb Cocker Spaniel with an incredibly gentle disposition—she has never barked, growled, or snapped at anyone. Because they had gotten into the habit of shaving her down, I simply requested to keep her coat longer, exactly as we had done on the visit prior. After dropping her off, I hadn't heard from them in 2.5 hours. When I called to check in, I was told blow-drying was taking longer than usual because she dislikes the blow drying. I know she doesn't like being blown directly in her face (a minor issue easily resolved by skipping the face dryer). They finished four hours later, only to hit me with surprise charges: a $15 de-matting fee (she was freshly washed 1.5 weeks prior and completely mat-free) and a $15 "special handling" fee—a charge typically reserved for aggressive dogs. The cutest name for a dog wash place… Let’s start there… For $20. You can’t find a better place. The people are amazing, they have great products, my dog has never had a reaction to their hypoallergenic stuff so I know it’s legit… Love this place we recommend all my friends.

I used the pet self wash here at Dogromat! Great parking, very nice stations with private, gated stalls. Very nice quiet equipment fancy hoses and very quiet dryer. My pups were not petrified. That oalone was top notch! One issue products were not great! Upgrade on quality of shampoo with conditioner is much needed, otherwise, a pleasant experience. We would go back in the future. I recommend this place. They also are a pet store with full grooming services, in the marina !👌🏾

I’ve been meaning to post a review for a while, and today’s exceptional grooming reminded me. My mini Aussie, Kiwi, and I have been customers for a little over a year now, and we’ve left happy every visit. It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE finding a groomer that specializes in longer and double coated dogs. Tons of very expensive Westside options that generally service doodles (shave, repeat, etc), but few that are absolute pros with scissors. Eduardo is a master! Listens to all your requests, and makes your dog feel at ease. I highly recommend booking with him if you have an Aussie, Golden Retriever, Border Collie, or any dog with delicate fur or coat. Great staff, tons of parking, reasonable pricing, and an absolute gem, even if you’re a self-wash person.

I was dog sitting and this dog came back from the doggy hotel smelling so bad like urine. I took him here and did the self wash. $20. They provided everything you could need- big apron, towels, brushes, shampoo, blow dryer. It was my first time washing a dog like this and it was fun! The people working there were nice and explained everything. It is walk in only so I called ahead to see if there was a long line/ wait and they said there is not a long wait now. The only thing is I didn’t hook up his leash properly and he tried to jump out once but I figured it out after that and then it was all good. Dog smelled amazing afterwards! So clean and fluffy! They have different shampoos for different breed needs. The dryer was powerful but not hot, it was like barely warm so it took a while to dry him off but at least I know he wasn’t getting scorched by a hot dryer! So nice to leave all the flying hairs and wet towels behind and go home with a happy dry dog! Way better than washing at home. Easy parking on the side. I highly recommend and I will be back!
