About Dogmetology
Pet grooming, with a stress free environment.
Located at 6611 W State Hwy 22 #1, Crestwood, KY 40014, Dogmetology operates as a pet groomer serving Crestwood in Kentucky. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under pet store, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (502) 310-3217. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is dogmetology.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 267 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Crestwood and suggests consistent service.
Crestwood is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Crestwood follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I just had to send a message about my experience at Dogmetology! Callie was literally the sweetest human ever. I brought in my dog Indy, and she absolutely pampered her from start to finish. You could truly tell how much everyone there loved her when I came to pick her up. Callie was so thorough, and this was by far the best groom Indy has ever had! She honestly looks like a puppy again, and I couldn’t love it more. Please pass this along to Callie so she knows how wonderful she and the entire staff were. It was a perfect experience!

Dogmetology is an absolute gem ✨ I can’t say enough good things about Mac and the care she gave my lab, Hattie. She was thoughtful, detail-oriented, and made sure Hattie was comfortable every step of the way. The salon is super cute, clean, and clearly focused on the health and safety of the dogs. Booking was easy, communication was great, and I loved getting photos during the appointment—it really put my mind at ease. The pricing is more than fair for the quality of service. The deshedding treatment was incredible—I’ve never seen that much hair come off Hattie! Highly, highly recommend!

Callie has been grooming my toy poodle, Benny, for over a year now, and I truly couldn’t imagine taking him anywhere else. She is so sweet, personable, loving, and genuinely amazing at what she does. From the very beginning, she’s made me feel completely comfortable and confident leaving Benny in her care, and as a dog mom, there is nothing more important than that. I trust Callie completely. Most of the time, I don’t even have to explain what Benny needs done, she just knows. That level of attention and familiarity means everything to me. I know without a doubt that when Benny is with her, he’s treated like one of her own. Everyone at Dogmetology is warm, kind, and welcoming to both me and Benny every single visit. He always leaves looking adorable and smelling incredible. You can tell they truly care about the dogs they work with. I absolutely recommend Dogmetology and Callie to all the dog moms and dads out there. Your fur baby will be in the best hands. 💕

Mac is awesome! She absolutely loves her job and it shows with her care and handling of my fur babies. My Coonhound Captain Christopher Pike hates to have his feet touched so getting his nails clipped used to be a nightmare at the vets. Mac is able to get them clipped every time with no trauma. I love this for him. We have two older dogs and they love her. I recommend Dogmetology to all who need a fantastic groomer. The staff is so awesome!

Y'all Stop sleeping on Spa Days for your Doggos & call Callie W & the crew at Dogmetology for all your pet spa needs. They saw sweet little Pepper today & she's feeling FRESH! She is a recent rescue & VERY skittish. I was nervous about this experience but Callie & the entire team were super professional & Callie went above & beyond to treat her with care & respect. Callie honestly treats every dog like her own -- she's groomed all our pups (even pre-joining Dogmetology -- yes, we follow her everywhere)!
