About Dog Spa

Dog Spa is a pet groomer in Greenville, South Carolina. It is listed at 1624 Woodruff Rd Ste 9, Greenville, SC 29607, which places it among the local businesses of Greenville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–3 pm. It is closed on Sunday. The employees at the shop are very loving and caring of dogs. If you want your dog to be cared for and groomed correctly with people that really do love animals. This is the place. Very professional and caring.

Dog spa has been one of my go to places for the past fifteen years. They've taken care of both of my Cairn Terriers , to include my father's german shepherds. They are kind considerate at absolutely love.Their customers to include the four legged ones. You shouldn't think twice about coming to them because they really are awesome!

They are too busy to give personal attention and care to dogs and owners. I perceive it that this is a production shop and quantity supersedes quality and personal care. Don’t ever miss an appointment time. They won’t call you with reminders ahead of time nor call you if you are running late. Instead they will call those on the wait list and refuse you. And they will never call you back. Yet, there is no way to get on their wait list! They can cancel for last minute trips often but you can’t cancel or arrive late due to an emergency. If you want careful and attentive grooming or have a busy life/have unforeseen emergencies then go elsewhere.

Literally the only place we take our Goldendoodle to get groomed. We went through a long journey to find a groomer for our Doodle, Thor. We went to maybe 11 different groomers in the Upstate since he was a puppy and weren't particularly thrilled with the results at any of the locations. We always requested for them to try to keep the retriever look, mainly in the face, and not to make him look like a poodle but each place ended up shaving him down and gave him the poodle look anyway without even consulting us. One groomer shaved half of the dog and he began to freak out and they made us come and pick him up half shaved and we couldn't get him scheduled for another appointment for over 2 weeks. Back in summer 2021, my wife and I were going on vacation with friends and decided to take Thor to dog training instead of a regular kennel. We ended up going with Astro Kennels in Simpsonville and loved them. While he stayed there we were asked if we wanted to get him groomed and decided to go ahead and get that done as well. When we picked him up we were thrilled with how he looked. The staff told us they were moving to a new location soon off Woodruff Rd and gave us their business card. We

BEWARE! Do not take your dog to this grooming company! Sadly took my golden doodle here and asked for a shorter summer cut along with showing an inspiration picture to them. Later came to pick my dog up and they had shaved her down to the skin all over without notifying me nor did it look anything like the picture I had shown them. The lady who cut her hair was not there when I picker her up and the secretary was incredibly rude and short with me. Several of the groomers were also yelling at the dogs and being incredibly unprofessional when I was checking out. They ended up charging me $120 for a bath and groom which I thought was slightly steep but with how inflation has been went ahead and paid along with a tip not thinking much more about it. Got my dog in the car and she appeared incredibly anxious which is not like her. When I got home I noticed she was bleeding in two spots on her back where they had nicked her with the clippers. Several days later she started obsessively licking the underside of her tail and wimpering- after inspecting found another deeper gash from the clippers which was developing an angry infection. As a result took her to my vet to be examined and she wa
