Montpelier is in Vermont, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Montpelier follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had to laugh at the featured review of Kindred Wind! This was a ball field that was flooded in 23. Now it's a great place for dogs to enjoy off leash. The river is beautiful and provides swimming for dogs and humans. Somehow it all works.

Beautiful spot, you will see dogs swimming in the shallow river in the summer or coming down from the field to drink and play! Field full of owners and happy dogs sometimes, most days quieter. River full of local youth swimming and meeting up somwtimes on the hottest days. Beautiful rock formations around the water and deeper pools in the Dog River. Bring a folding chair and a book or a picnic from Hunger Mountain Coop!

Great little rest spot on our way to Montreal. The dogs got to run off leash in a grassy area then swim in the shallow river. Perfect for a quick break.

This is not a dog park. It is a playing field and park space, but dogs need to remain on leash, there's no fenced area for them, and dogs are not supposed to be in the field space at all. Although it has been mowed, the field space itself looks like it had not been cared for, other than that, in over a year. The ball field baseline is overgrown

The field is always clean and maintained. Plenty of room for dogs to run and other activities. Many paths down to the river.
