My dog came here for his very 1st professional haircut. Santiago is amazing. Shadow doesn't want to leave. His haircut looks so cute each time and the prices are reasonable. We keep coming back.

What a great experience for Lucy and Max. Samuel is great with them! My fur babies came back clean and calm. Samuel really knows how to handle big dogs with reactive personalities. We will be back soon and look forward to seeing Samuel!

When I first moved to Long Island, I honestly never thought I’d find a groomer I could truly trust especially with a dog who was very sick. Then I met Santiago, and I will never forget that first experience. From the moment he met Louie, his compassion was undeniable. He took the time to really understand Louie’s condition, never rushing, always patient, and always gentle. What amazed me every single time was not only how caring he was, but how consistently perfect Louie’s haircuts turned out. It’s rare to find someone who balances skill and heart so effortlessly. Santiago was incredibly understanding of Louie’s situation and always made sure he felt as comfortable as possible during each visit. I truly couldn’t recommend a better groomer. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your dog especially if they need a little extra care Santiago is that person. I refer everyone to him, and I’m so grateful we found him. His compassion, dedication, and love for what he does (and for the pups he cares for) are unmatched. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Santiago for everything 🤍

I had a great experience at Dog Island Grooming. Santiago took amazing care of my dog, Creed, and it really showed. He was incredibly sweet and professional, as well as patient and gentle, making sure Creed was comfortable the entire time. Creed came back looking great and happy, which means everything to me. You can tell Santiago genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I highly recommend Dog Island Grooming and will definitely be coming back.
