Waco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Waco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A good dive bar to get cheap drinks

First time going next door to Mamaka’s and wanted to get out of the sun and there was no one sitting out side the restaurant so we went and sat over there in the shade at Dog house. Then 10 minutes later a male worker with a sleeve tattoo came outside and approached us rudely asked if we were ordering food or drinks and we said no and told us we needed to move somewhere. I work food service and would never approach someone just simply sitting there.

Service sucks, they are worried about their phones more than the customers! Used to be a great place to hang and enjoy a cocktail, ever since they got that manager Brian things are not what they used to be. The manager is ALWAYS so drunk! Definitely do not recommend!!!

Great dive bar, but they always seem to be closed or closing when I try to go. It’s a great day time bar but unfortunately, the bar tenders are able to decide if they want to stay open at night and most of them choose to close too early.

Great dive bar, and the bartenders are really cool. Drink prices are reasonable. Go for it, you'll have a good time!
