We had 3 training sessions with Jen. Our dog lacked confidence and we had several issues we wanted to work on. Jen came to our home and provided us with the tools and skills to help Daisy gain confidence and ultimately become more comfortable. Having her come here was extremely beneficial because it allowed Daisy to remain comfortable in her own surroundings and not have to also deal with distractions. Jen was easy to work with and she consistently checked to make sure we understood her suggestions, and if we had additional questions. We will definitely reach out again for any future training questions or needs.

We worked with Jen to help our newly adopted dog with some of her anxiety regarding the kennel and us leaving her unattended. Jen was GREAT. Our dog started off terrified of the kennel and by the time we finished with our sessions she would freely go in there to hang out for awhile. What I also loved about Jen was she taught us things to do at home that helped reinforce our pups positive behavior. Overall I loved the fact that they didn't us shock collars or other harsh behavior modifications techniques. Would use again!

Hoshi went through Puppy School the last few months of last year! I loved our time with Dog Gone Problems and I wish we could go back and do puppy school all over again for the first time with Hoshi! She learned so much here! Not just her, but my husband and I were given the tools to keep training her even after she graduated! We also had an in home session with Lydia (who is absolutely amazing btw, bonus points for her!!!) and learned about how to manage her car ride anxiety, she's come so far now and can now ride in the car without crying the whole time. Thank you Dog Gone Problems!

My husband and I signed our little guy, Kenai, up for puppy classes here right after we adopted him. The trainers were so professional and knowledgeable! We really love their positive enforcement approach to training. Now that he’s older, our dog is in puppy daycare and we are incredibly impressed! When we’ve pulled up to the building to drop him off, he gets so excited and practically jumps out of the car. We check in on him via their webcam in the daycare room and every time we’ve looked in, we have seen such caring people (who clearly love dogs) providing excellent care. The facilities are super clean and it’s clear that the other dogs love to be there. Dave is also an incredible person and owner. When we brought our puppy in, he was there to greet us personally and asked us questions not only about how Kenai is doing, but how we were doing as well. They also had Kenai come in and meet all of the puppies that he would be in daycare with individually to see if they would all get along. He even showed us videos of Kenai meeting the other dogs and explained certain behaviors and cues that Kenai was exhibiting. Kenai is so happy there and with their help he’s now crate trained, p

We have absolutely loved our experience with puppy classes at Dog Gone Problems. These classes have been incredibly educational and honestly far better than any puppy classes we’ve taken in the past. The training is truly positive reinforcement–based, and what really stands out is the depth of knowledge around dog behavior and body language. You can tell the dogs’ comfort, confidence, and emotional state are a top priority. It’s not just about training cues, but about understanding why dogs behave the way they do and making sure they’re actually happy and engaged. We’ve learned so much already and feel more confident navigating puppyhood because of it. The environment is supportive, thoughtful, and clearly designed with the dogs’ best interest in mind. We’re genuinely excited for the next round of classes and can’t recommend this program enough to anyone looking for smart, compassionate, and effective training.
