About Diamond in the Ruff Pet Spa
Hi! I’m Sarah and I’m the owner of Diamond in the Ruff. I became certified in dog and cat grooming as well as shop management in 2007 by the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming. I am also a certified trainer through Animal Behavior College since 2007. Since then, I have owned many dogs, and have shown in conformation, as well as dabbled in dock diving, nose work, and obedience. One of my particular passions in the dog world (aside from grooming) is advocating for reputable breeding and educating people looking to add a dog about what to look for in an ethical breeder. My staff is all PetSafe CPR certified and we continue to further our education to learn not just about grooming, but behavior, nutrition, husbandry, and training.

10/10 recommend. My puppy loves it here. Her favorite place. Mike & Sarah are amazing and are extremely knowledgeable. It’s extremely comforting whenever I drop off my puppy here knowing she’s in great hands.

I brought my puppy for his first ever groom and he came back to me looking like the cutest puppy in the world (I’m biased lol) not only did they take excellent care of him while he was there but they were so patient with me as well and answered all my questions. Can’t wait for my frosty to go back

Sarah, owner of Diamond in the Ruff, is fantastic. She takes care of Troy as if he is her own. Troy enjoys his time there and is happy to see everyone. Sarah and her team have been providing dog services for Troy since he was born. He is 8 years old now. I trust no one more than Sarah to take care of him. We travel from Metuchen every 6 weeks for his grooming because Sarah is the best!! You will not be disappointed!

Mike and Sarah are awesome, they treat Sophie like she’s family. In fact they treat me like I’m family. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend them.

I can honestly say you won’t find an owner who cares more deeply about animals or provides higher-level grooming and expert care than Diamond in the Ruff. Sarah and her team are exceptional. We’ve learned so much from her, and the joy she brings to our little Pinky is unmatched. We’re so grateful to have found her and highly recommend the entire team. You simply won’t find a better place or a happier dog when you pick them up.
