In Las Vegas, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Nevada, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Las Vegas is in Nevada, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. Traffic in Las Vegas peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. My mom and I have bringing our dogs here for about a year, and we while the grooming itself has been great. The customer service, we received, specifically from the black male groomer that’s there, has been very nasty and unpleasant. During our most recent visit, he raised his voice and berated my mother in front of other customers because one of our dogs was anxious and reactive during grooming. I’ve groomed both of my dogs myself so I have hands on experience on what they’re like. One of our dogs love grooming, while the other hates grooming bites the brush, blow dryer and nail clippers. She has always hated grooming and she most likely probably always will. But I feel like that’s completely normal to have pets who are going to have different temperaments, and that’s something that groomers probably deal with all the time. Honestly, you don’t know what someone is going through. My mom and I have been juggling a lot. I mostly do the grooming myself, but I’m not able to groom them as often as I want to anymore with health issues and a new baby. But despite that, I always make sure my dogs are taken cared of I groom them as soon as I can. We love our dogs! We are doing our best—l

After Kobe’s last grooming with LALAPOOCH, I was honestly very concerned about finding a new groomer I could trust. LALAPOOCH had been our go-to, and when they closed, it was a big loss for us. Kobe is not just any dog—he’s like a little stuffed teddy bear, and grooming him takes a very special level of skill, patience, and artistry. Fluffy dogs like him are not easy, and finding someone who truly understands that is rare. Today, I’m very happy to say that Desert Pet Spa is now our new home for Kobe’s grooming. The technician who took care of him, Miku, was absolutely fantastic. She is truly an artist—she listened carefully, understood exactly the look I wanted, and delivered on it perfectly. That level of precision, especially on a first visit, is incredibly impressive. Usually, it takes a few visits to get alignment, but not here. Kobe came out looking exactly how he should—clean, balanced, and that perfect teddy bear look that we love. I couldn’t be happier with the result. A big thank you to Miku and also to Kay, the owner, for running such a high-quality, professional salon. I highly recommend Desert Pet Spa to anyone in Las Vegas, especially if you have a dog that requires de

Horrible horrible place, I had my appointment on Friday and I found out yesterday that they cut my dog near the pee pee spot. We called the place today and they were so rude. The man who picked up said no injuries reported at that time, repeated a couple of times, and told us to go to the vet hinting it was us instead of them. Horrible attitudes and they were not trying to solve the problem, no apology, or trying to understand the incident only blaming us. They didn’t find an injury at that time, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen since who would have thought to check that place. Later they ended our call when our talk was not even over, so rude. Plus the haircut was not good like some parts were longer than others. NEVER GOING BACK. Reply to Owner: First of all, this review is already a month old, and the injury has healed, so I don’t see the point in trying to “solve” the problem now. We are not trying to look for a solution at this point or trying to act like a “Karen.” We simply wanted an apology when we called, and even now, your response still does not sound apologetic. Second, you mentioned “professionalism,” but I did not see that during our call. You also mentioned “m

I’ve had the best experiences with this groomer. They really care about their animal clients. I have an extremely difficult 20 pound senior cat and the owner is so patient with him, which makes a normally traumatic experience much less traumatic. I recently got a puppy and today was her first time getting groomed, and they took the cutest picture of her. I have no idea how they got her to sit still long enough, but it’s such a great keepsake for her first time. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
