In Irving, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Texas, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

We have a miniature Australian shepherd that is extremely shy and nervous. So we were nervous trying out a new groomer as the past grooming facilities were adequate but we needed to find someone who would understand and love our dog well. So happy we found this place. Our Soli looks beautiful and had such a great day she wasn’t very interested in going home. Ms. Carrie, Justin and Bethany are amazing. So friendly and so professional. They love your dog like you do! So refreshing versus the corporate grooming facilities. This is a yes!

This is not your average groomer. Carrie and her crew take wonderful care of our dogs - currently 2 German Shepherds, a Shepherd/Sheltie mix and a Chihuahua. We have taken all of our dogs here every month for about 15 years and never worry about mishandling or mistreatment. They look forward to their trip to “get beautified” because they know they get star treatment. It’s a cage free environment so our girls get to hang out all day with other dogs in addition to all the grooming care. This team truly loves working with the dogs and knows each one individually. Also, if Carrie or her crew discover a problem during the grooming session, they make sure to let us know about it. This personal touch and loving care for our pets is why we will continue to use Dawg E Day S’Paw for all our dogs.

Carrie was amazing with my little girl Nina. My pup does not like to be groomed, but getting to play with other dogs must of helped her with her anxiety. She was so patient and kind to my little one that there was no doubt in my mind that I found a great place for my pup!

I absolutely love this place! I take all 3 of my dogs for grooming and they do a fantastic job every time. One of my dogs is an old timer and has some leg issues. They listen when I tell them his condition and they communicate well about his experience. They always smell great and are nice and clean. This is now our home groomer. Def recommend!!

Carrie is so amazing with our furbabies. They are actually excited to go there and have a fun time with other dogs and that's with a geriatric Chihuahua poodle mix who has hard time dealing with other dogs (bad parents that didn't socialize her well as puppy). She always does an amazing job. She has also gotten our put to not freak-out with getting her nails done.
