This review is long overdue!! I took my dog, Daisy to Das Hund Haus for approx a year between 2020-2021 while living in Lakeland. Backstory: I had been taking Daisy to my vet’s doggy daycare, but one day noticed Daisy had several deep scratches on her belly-so deep they had bled. After that, Daisy, who was normally a happy-go-lucky 1yr old pup at the time, friendly with other dogs and people, had become aggressive. I tried taking her to other doggy daycares, but would get called to pick her up because she was growling at others. After doing some research, I found DHH, and boy am I glad I did!!! Jill, the owner, knows what she’s doing, and she knows the temperament of hounds. Daisy took right to her. Jill kept her upfront where she had a couple of other, very mild manner dogs, and was able to turn Daisy around. I don’t know what she did, but she worked her magic and Daisy loved going there, and she loved Jill!! I could’ve just opened the car door and she would’ve run right to the door and right to Jill! I can’t thank them enough for doing what they did with Daisy. We ended up moving and that was a sad day when we left on Daisy‘s last day of daycare. Don’t hesitate to bring your dog

My dog, recently passed away, and he spent the last four years in their care—truly like family. What they provided is hard to measure and not easy to explain—but it showed in the results every single time. The consistency, the way they understood him, and the environment they created gave me complete peace of mind. They never let me down. That level of care isn’t easy to accomplish, but they delivered it every day. It truly takes a village to raise a well-mannered, happy dog, and they were a big part of that. I’m very grateful he was in good hands. He loved this place and all of you so much. Thank you for everything you did for him.

Logan did a great job on our terrier! He looks amazing and I think he feels great too! He’s a senior and she took the time to be gentle and let us know when he was ready to reduce his time and stress of being crated. Thank you so much!

I have had such a great experience with this facility. I have done boarding and training with them and it has been such a pleasant experience. When i needed on the spot boarding due to my job and traveling. The response was bring Stella in. They have been so accommodating with my short notice. Stella loves going there and she is so happy when I pick her up. Plus they offer bathing and nail trim. I feel so good knowing that Stella is in good hands with Das Hund Haus. She made a lot if friends there and we will miss this place. We are moving to South Carolina and wish this facility was there for us. I can honestly say they are like extended family to us. So many thanks for all you do and appreciate you taking care of Stella for us. If your on the fence on wether this is a good facility for your family member. Don't look any further, i highly recommend them and they get 5 stars from me and all 4 paws from Stella!

They have trained two of our pups and we couldn’t be more satisfied. We adopted our beloved Belgian malanois through a rescue they were keeping. He has become the perfect service dog for all of my wife’s needs. Our German Shepherd went through board and train for 3 weeks and it was worth every penny. He is a complete different dog.
