In Damascus, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Oregon, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Steve does a wonderful job. My dog, a King Charles Spaniel, is done perfectly in the traditional style for his breed and he smells awesome for at least two weeks after. The softness of his fur lasts and lasts. Steve is professional, charges a great price and is wonderful.

I just picked my doggy up from this family run business and she looks like a new dog! They heard me out when I told them how I wanted it cut and did a great job of giving me what I asked for while also offering me their helpful opinion. They were patient with my wiggly pup and very friendly to me. Thanks Damascus Dog Grooming!
