We stayed here while attending our law enforcement K9 service dog’s recertification training in Torrington. At check-in, we were informed there would be a $250 pet fee, even after presenting his official service dog accreditation credentials. I explained that Marriott properties generally do not charge fees for legitimate service animals. They ended up charging us $250 and a $200 cleaning fee because there was fur detected in the room. We had to get it resolved with the manager. Overall the rooms were nice and clean. If you plan to use this place if you are in town visiting Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities facility I would call in advance to make them aware you are coming with a Service dog.

Had a wedding nearby and decided to stay at the Marriott. We had a great experience! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us early check-in so that we could get ready for the event. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean, and we really liked the hangout area in the lobby. Would definitely return if I’m near the area again!

If I could leave 100 stars I would!! I was there this past weekend and was very stressed and had to take care of some less than happy issues. The bright spot in my time in CT was this hotel! I had to extend my stay and the front desk staff made it easy and asked if I needed anything every time they saw me because they knew I was having a rough time. The gentleman that ran the parking garage gate was AMAZING. So sweet and friendly and had great recommendations for local spots. The hotel was clean, the food was really good (ordered room service breakfast) and the staff was 5-stars luxury hotel level. The location is very accessible and close to freeways. If you’re looking for a hotel in the area stay here!!!!
