Got our dog from here and love him. The staff was nice and helpful but they don’t answer the phones and take about 24 hours to answer so if it’s an urgent question you’ll have to wait. They do not offer fosters so keep that in mind. When looking at the dogs they had we noticed most kennels had pee and poop in it from not being walked, we understand there’s hundreds of dogs and not all can be walked but it was a bit sad to see. Adoption fee was $100 for our dog. Overall a good experience.

Amazing place! I was driving down the street with my daughter when she seen someone throw a kitten out the window! Yes, a fricken kitten! I immediately stopped and scooped her up! She was so pretty, but had something wrong with her tail (like some other animal got ahold of it.) we then went to Petco to see where we could take her. I couldn’t keep her even if I wanted to. I’m allergic and we live on a farm with chickens and dogs. Plus I didn’t have the time more financials to take on another animal. So Petco gave me this places information-told me to call them. When I did it was voicemail saying to email first. Well we didn’t have the time to wait. We had a busy day so we went up there instead. When I tell you it broke my heart seeing her get checked out. I guess because it all hit me at once that people could be so cruel to do some shit like that. But the lady who checked us in was even more attentive and sad for the kitten. She held her and just loved up on her and right then I knew I made a good choice in bringing her in. Her name is HONEY if anyone wants to know! They let us name her and everything!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Companion Animal Alliance – Baton Rouge, LA** I had a wonderful experience with **Companion Animal Alliance**! 🐶❤️ The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout the entire adoption process. I adopted my adorable puppy in January, and she has been such a joy—well-behaved, sweet, and full of love. 🐾 I was able to adopt her at the **Companion Animal Alliance mobile adoption van on Millerville Rd. in Baton Rouge**, right by **PetSmart**, which made the process very convenient. 🚐✨ I truly appreciate all the care and dedication the team puts into helping animals find loving homes. My puppy has become such an amazing addition to our family, and we love her dearly. 🏡💕 Thank you all so much for the incredible work you do for the animals and the community! I highly recommend Companion Animal Alliance to anyone looking to adopt a new furry family member. 🐕😊

Loved this shelter, they have more accessible adoption prices, plus $10 Tuesdays and now even $5 Friday. STAFF IS SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! Other shelters pretend to be cool on Facebook but don't even answer applications or emails plus they have extra expensive fees...then ask to go adopt because they are running out of space. Shame on other shelters!!! We got our second dog on Saturday, my daughter didn't want to wait until cheap Tuesday because she didn't want anyone else to get Tucker. We are very happy with CAA and will totally recommend them!
