If you have a pet that needs boosters or is easily treatable, they are fine. But if your pet has serious issues, I would find another vet that will work to find underlying issues without just assuming they know what is going on.

I’ve been in Traverse City for 7 years and finally found a terrific vet, Sara Lint, at Clarke-Everett. Everything about this vet practice is 5 star - welcoming, efficient, and very high-touch. I had scheduled a 3 month chest x-ray for my golden retriever who has been treated by Michigan State Vet School for Malignant Melanoma since last July. I had only scheduled a routine x-ray so was astounded when Dr. Lint introduced herself and then examined him. During that visit she showed more attention to my dog than the vet school had shown in the past six months. She also took the time to connect with me as his owner. I asked if she would take over his care and she said she needed to read up on the treatment protocols first but believed she could. During his exam, two small growths were detected so he is now scheduled for minor surgery next month. The next day they emailed me a detailed range of charges for that upcoming surgery. All charges are fully explained and reasonable. In fact, the charge for his x-ray was notably less than another local vet and MSU’s Vet School. Highly recommend this vet practice!

my childhood cats have seen the vets here since i was a child and now as an adult with two kittens of my own and any pet i may adopt in the future will always go here. They are very kind, answer any and all questions, and take AMAZING care of my cats. I appreciate their love and care for these animals more than anything.

They have been taking care of my 2 cats since they were kittens and every time I bring them in they all want to love on them. Never had any issues. Wasabi recently had teeth pulled from them and he is doing a lot better! ————— I’m updating my review from 7 years ago: September 2023, Wasabi had an issue with his lower jaw. I assumed it was a tooth problem and swollen. Took him in and they immediately took his situation serious. X ray done had shown bone degrading. Come to find out after biopsies and visits to this place and Blue Pearl in Grand Rapids, Wasabi had Osteosarcoma. Because he didn’t show any spread of the cancer anywhere else, Blue Pearl performed surgery to remove his jaw and the biopsy showed that the cancer had not spread past the surgery point microscopically. Because of their fast actions and quick communication with the oncologist down in Grand Rapids, Wasabi was able to be treated quickly and urgently. The only thing that slowed me down from a more quick surgery date was money. Wasabi is doing great! He’s a happy boy! Thank you to the staff for your continuous support. I’ll always recommend this vet.
