Got our Barkules from here. Great staff and the dogs are truly loved. Will be back in the future to adopt again.

I'm on vacation in California and in between trip plans I have visited various shelters out here. I work at cache humane society and love my dogs there. I just like to visit shelters because I know how important it is to spread a hug or 2 too these dogs. The officers here where so kind, to the officer that brought the dog out and chatted with me thank you. Very nice shelter, clean, and the dogs where amazing it made my day after a long day of sight seeing. The time they put into taking care of these pups deserve a "GREAT JOB" best experience so far

I adopted Nala from here. They told me that she has behavioral issues after having had swatted at people. They also notified me that they had trouble with handling her and getting her to the vet for this reason. They were close to deeming her as unadoptable due to her behavior. I preferred her over the other cats despite the shelters valid warnings. They told me that if I did not adopt her by a certain day that they would kill her, so quite naturally I adopted her. Me and her have had some troubles as she was getting used to things, but she has proven to be an angel. She lets me pick her up now, she is more affectionate, but she still so lazy which I love. We take many naps together. She was obese, but after living with me she been losing her fat. This shelter had her caged for most the day, which is understandable, so she didn’t have much space to move around. She loves attention from everyone is doing so well. I’m glad I adopted her and she has a forever home with me. 🫶🏾 also they gave her to me for free!

I came along with a friend who wanted to adopt a specific dog she saw online at this shelter. The staff were extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Because the staff was so willing to match the right dog into the right forever home, my friend adopted a different dog, a young husky mix! All the dogs we saw were clean and groomed. The shelter was super clean & tidy too!!!! It was the weekend and many volunteers were polite and professional. Ten years ago, I adopted my beloved Albee a young Samoyed who came from this shelter too!

Karen and Taylor scored me a four- wheel drive, well muscled, hellion of a Rhodesian mix, "OAK TREE"..........Man, this dawg has me trail running with him.............
