About Chris' Waggin' Tails Inc

Located at 2701 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710, Chris' Waggin' Tails Inc operates as a pet groomer serving Evansville in Indiana. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. We always bring out mini aussie doodle here from grooming. Great staff and my dogs love it.

I just tried to call and see about getting my pitbull nails trimmed. The owner said she couldn’t do my dog. I asked the particular reason why and she rudely said “uh because I’m 58 years old with a bad back”. Why would you need to lift her off the floor anyway? All she needed was her nails done. Also if you’re too old to handle your job, maybe it’s time to retire???? I will never suggest this place again.

Have been going to Chris since 1990's, she and her staff are great with our dogs and she is the only one who bathes cats in the area. Love her sweet personality and the others there.

We just moved, and Chris was highly recommended by a neighbor who explained that she had been taking her dogs there for over 30 years! I called and Chris answered the phone herself. She was welcoming and reassuring. She got my sweet Rose in right away, but I came down with a nasty bug and had to call and cancel our first appointment. Chris was once again so kind. She told me to call back when I was feeling better and that is exactly what I did! Rosie has only been to one groomer and I was nervous. When we got there her daughter checked us in but I could see and hear Chris working on a big beautiful dog, in the tub. She took a phone call while bathing the dog, hung up the phone and went right back to talking to the dog. Just seeing her speak so lovingly to the animals trusted to her immediately made me feel better. They also took a picture of Rosie after she was all dolled up, and I think she even posted it on Facebook! Just seeing someone else love my girl like I would want is so important. Once I was home she texted me the photo included in this post and she gave me more feedback about Rosie, how she did, how they got along. It was so reassuring to know that she knew my girl in t

They did an amazing job with my Luna and followed our request. She looks adorable 🥰 we have brought our other pups too and Panda specifically, we have had issues getting him groomed because he hates it, but they were able to leave him so handsome!
