Chezchienne House-Dogs Groom

I lived in Bend for 10 years. I took my English bulldog in for a grooming because I had wrist injuries and needed someone to bathe my baby for me. I went to pick up Rocky and I saw the owner frustrated with him because he had a dog toy in his mouth and wouldn't let go as she tugged on it. He thought they were playing tug of war. I saw the owner/groomer hit him hard in the face so he would let go of the toy. The owners son all of a sudden noticed I had walked in and looked like he didn't know if I had witnessed the incident or not. I was so afraid to say anything about what I had seen that I paid and tipped even because I was afraid I would lose my temper completely and the consequences of that were not something I was prepared for. 4 years later and living in another state I still regret taking Rocky to this abusive establishment and how I didn't stand up for him or myself. If you love your animals please do not take them here. These people should not be in contact with animals. Abusive and from other reviews I have read they also are dangerous in their grooming. If you take your dog here I can say that you are risking their lives. I will never allow that type of behavior a

I only go to chezchienne house for both my dogs grooming. Her affordable prices and prompt service is what keeps me coming back! I have a lab that gets groomed and a Yorkie that gets a puppy cut trim everytime. Five stars because I have never been disatisfied with the results or price. If your looking for a affordable dog groomer that takes great care and consideration for your dogs needs while providing you with respect and prompt service, then this is the place.

We have turned in a better business bureau (BBB) report but "House of Dogs" (Chez Chienne) grooming salon is not signed up. Nor does she have a YELP account. I'm fairly sure they live in their spot on Greenwood and it was one of the most unloving places we've ever entered. She harmed our dog and still took full payment for grooming even though she knew we were rushing our small dog into the Urgent care vet. We attempted to call twice and she hung up on us twice, EXTREMELY uncaring. You get what you pay for, people. WATCH YOUR DOGS or stick around and watch how she and her 'staff' handles the animals. It's UNREAL ! Horrible, horrible, horrible.

NEVER USE CHEZ CHIENNE!! We brought our labradoodle here and the woman couldn't be worse! For starters, we dropped our dog off at 11:30 and she wasn't ready until 6pm. Second, the haircut is a catastrophe! Our dog has bald spots all over, the hair is uneven all over the place, she even got nicks/bald spots on the nose! Our dog was traumatized! She was kept in a cage for 6 hours straight and hadn't been able to go out to the bathroom the entire time! And to top things off, when I showed up at 4:30 to check and see what was going on, the lady there was laying on a couch in a back room talking on the phone with her mother and couldn't be bothered by my presence. She simply came out, still on the phone, and told me she hadn't even started on my dog (5hrs into the grooming)! I'm seriously thinking of going back there today just to yell at this lady out front of whatever customers she might still have and show everyone how terrible this business is. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THE WELLNESS OF YOUR PET! THIS LADY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS

I had been using the same groomer for about two years for my border collie, I was in need of a haircut for her same day and my usual place was booked out for two weeks. Chez Chienne took her in immediately despite being booked for the day, I was very apprehensive of bringing her somewhere new because she's my baby of course. My dog was so well taken care of and she looked amazing (and happy) when I picked her up. I was told she just loved getting her haircut which I believed but had never been told that before. I could tell she truly cared for my Doggy and I will absolutely be going back! She spent a good four hours taming my collies nappy hair and she only charged me 40$. From a dog OBSESSOR I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to be sure their dog is treated well. It took a little longer than I'd hoped but well worth it! Thank you Chez Chienne!
