This was my first visit here and I was so impressed with the staff and the doctor! Very caring and made sure that my dog had a great first experience with them.

I truthfully think about this vet everyday and how the people who work here are able to sleep at night. My family and I had been going to Chesapeake Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They knew us all my name. It was nothing but the best service. Unfortunately, my cat was hit my a car. She was stable and conscious enough to be brought into the vet. Upon arrival, we explained the situation and how desperate we were to get her the care she needed immediately as time was not on our side. The lack of urgency and empathy is something I will never, ever forget. They declined to take her and sent us away. She passed away the next day. If they would have taken her, she would most likely still be alive today. I will never step foot in this vet. Nor will I ever forgive them.

My dog has a yeast infection. To relieve the itching, I ordered some apoquel. One week later, i heard nothing about the status of the order. I called and they said the order was not complete. They said pick it up and it would be ready in the afternoon. I stopped by and it was not ready. Today, on the other hand, I had good service because they went out of your way to make sure my dog had the best treatment. They didn't have to call me and maximize my time, but they did it anyway. Good Job!

Doctor Neering is the BEST vet! And the staff at Chesapeake Animal Hospital are top notch. Everyone is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about your pet. We have been going there for 15+ years and LOVE it.

I have been visiting this clinic for over two years. Dr. Kim spayed my dog, put a chip in her and made her nostrils bigger since her nostrils were very small and she was having hard time to breathe. Everything went well. Other occasion, my babies got poisoned with food and Dr. Drinkwater took care of both of my babies. She treated both and prescribed a treatment to be continued at home. They recuperated very quickly. The doctors are very professional, very kind and nice. The same with the girls at the counter, always very nice. I’m very pleased with their service.
