My frenchie dealt with terrible skin issues for a year. Our local vet pumped her full of antiobiotics, steroids and numerous other costly injections. We had our appointment 3 weeks ago with CHAI, the doctor was amazing. She took 30 minutes with me explaining the science behind yeast overgrowth and how diet was what we needed to fix first. 3 weeks later and I have a different dog. Her paws have completely cleared, no more bloody cysts, incessant licking or emergency vet visits. I am in shock and so very thankful I found CHAI, we will never go anywhere else.

There are some businesses you visit, and there are others that become part of your life. Chai Holistic Animal Institute is the latter for us. For years, we took our pets to a conventional veterinary practice, and we were comfortable with that. But when our girl was diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia, everything changed. I knew I didn’t want to simply pump her body full of chemotherapy without exploring every other option available to us. I wanted to understand what we could do to support her body and her quality of life in a different way. I reached out to a very good friend of mine who is the head technician, and I trusted her completely. I followed every single one of her recommendations and started incorporating nutrition (most important), supplements, and other holistic support into our girl’s care. We absolutely filled her with herbal goodness—and she THRIVED. She gave us another year and eight months after her diagnosis WITHOUT chemotherapy. This is truly an exceptional veterinary hospital. The doctors are highly knowledgeable, and the entire staff is incredibly caring. It’s easily our favorite clinic—we wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!

The vets and every staff member are professional, kind, caring and seem to enjoy their jobs! This has made it easier for us when our elder pets have problems or begin to decline. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I cannot recommend CHAI enough. My sweet boy, Hank, hated his previous vet—the setup there stressed him out immensely. At CHAI, he was always greeted enthusiastically and with treats (the way to his heart). They immediately brought us into a room and handled everything there, including checkout, rather than making us wait in a lobby with multiple other pets. That alone made a huge difference for Hank. Hank experienced seizures during the last few months of his life, and the entire team handled him with so much care and compassion. Hank saw both Dr. Katie and Dr. Smith during our time at CHAI, and they somehow mastered the art of being deeply kind and caring while also delivering blunt, hard information when needed. Because of their thoughtful, holistic recommendations, I was able to enjoy three additional months with my boy—time I will forever be grateful for. I felt 100% confident in their guidance every step of the way. Whenever Hank had a seizure, the technicians and front office staff were quick to respond and provide calm, clear guidance. When it came time to do the impossible thing and end his suffering, they guided me through it with so much gentleness. Meg sat with me in
