Chamo's Hand CarWash

Unfortunately, after hearing so many positive things about this car wash, I decided to give it a try today and left extremely disappointed. One of the employees was very rough with my vehicle. He repeatedly slammed my car seats, which I heard from across the parking lot. During the process, the interior door trim was somehow ripped off as well (see images). He also handled my floor mats so aggressively that he ripped the retaining anchor out of the floor (see images). After damaging it, he threw the mats onto the ground and kicked them out of the way multiple times. I later found the broken anchor in my back seat, which made it appear that he had tossed it there hoping I wouldn’t notice the damage, instead of bringing it to my attention. Despite this rough treatment, the mats still have visible dirt residue on them. To make matters worse, the quality of the wash itself was poor. My rims were not cleaned (see images) at all and still had visible dirt on all four wheels (see images), and there were multiple dirt spots and stains left on the exterior of the car. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially given the positive reputation of this business. I expected

Made the trip here because car washes by me don’t do as good of a job. I used to love coming here. My car looks great and everything was done with care.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly, professional, and they genuinely take care of both me and my car every time I stop by. You can tell they care about the quality of their work, not just getting you in and out. I highly recommend their body gloss service, it really makes the car shine and keeps it looking fresh way longer than a regular wash. Overall, just a great spot with great people. Definitely recommend.

The car wash that gets it right every time. I can use my truck as a mirror when they finish. The level of detail with the VIP wash is worth the money. You’d easily pay $150+ anywhere else. This is the only place I’ll go. Fast, efficient, and always done right. I never have to ask them for more. I only do hand wash car wash’s. And this is the best that I’ve seen by far!!!! They’ll get my money every time. VIP rewards every 6th wash is free. I don’t know if it gets any better than this!!! Outside of a $300 detail. I’ve paid more for an suv at other car wash’s and got less and not as good results. If you come here and have the time, do the vip and get your car looking like new again. Chamo’s is the best in Elizabeth, Union county, and possibly New Jersey. First picture is before the detail with VIP wash.

I had an amazing experience at this car wash! The team is professional, fast, and very detailed. My car looked spotless inside and out — like it just came from the dealership. Great customer service and fair prices. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality work!
