Fantastic new facility and well done by the Architects except for one thing. They installed green astro turf in the outdoor play area for canines. That's an absolute no no. The hottest temperature between concrete, asphalt and green AstroTurf is AstroTurf. I was there the other day on a rather cool day of 74° and pulled out my infrared temperature tool to compare temperatures of all three surfaces. I told the front desk of my findings which were 116 degrees Fahrenheit on the concrete and 125 degrees Fahrenheit on the asphalt and 136 degrees Fahrenheit on the AstroTurf. I can promise you that when the temperature reaches 90° that those surface temperatures will increase 10 to 20° higher which is unacceptable for dogs paws. I would dare any employee to take off their shoes and socks at 12:00 noon when it's 90 to 95 degrees and see how long they can stand on that AstroTurf I can promise you it'll be a very quick realized experiment. Hopefully for the safety of all the canines including the elderly dogs that they will consider figuring out a way to cover the entire area to keep the sun off of the astro turf. I have a piece of AstroTurf underneath my wooden deck and it gets a small amou

Very nice place. They got us in for an emergency right away. Best pet urgently care. The base visit fee is reasonable unlike some places that want hundreds just to see the pet. Staff was great. Thanks so much.

Dr. Showalter is the best vet in town. I just lost my cat, and it was so tragic, but the rapport I had with Dr. Showalter really made it like hearing the news from a friend. I truly think she helped add years onto my baby's life. She always treated her like she was her own pet and a member of my family, which is exactly what she was. Thanks, Cedar Creek Pet Hospital for making my cat's life so much better, even the end of it. 💜

So we once trusted Cedar Creek for our Pet Care, but not anymore. We take our beautiful dog there for boarding while we went to Mexico for a week and they were told that we wanted a bath and a nail trim. He is also on medicine and we provided a full bag of pill pockets a large bag of food and a stuffed rawhide bone. So we went to pick up our pup at 10:30 am like agreed upon and there was no bath, no nail trim they at first dint give us back our full bag of pill pockets and the bone was long gone and it normally takes months for him to go through it. They said they were short handed well guess what the services that we paid for up front should have been done regardless and we get home and he has blood on his nose where it appears to have maybe been a dog fight. This service was absolutely horrible, this hospital should be ashamed of themselves. You can tell I am extremmly pissed off

Cedar Creek is great at getting you in on short notice when necessary. Dr. Peterson was very helpful when dealing with my dog’s intestinal blockage over the holidays. He went above and beyond and even texted to check in on him on Christmas Day. Thank you so much!
