Cats in the City - TANDEM Cat® Grooming

We took one kitty in and she had a fabulous time and came back clean and happy. So we decided to take a second kitty in and she came back like 90% groomed but it seems like they just forgot to finish. Attached photo is how she came out of the carrier. It's a pretty hefty mat. We had to spend about twenty minutes brushing her out that night, which is stressful for her and the reason we sent her to a professional in the first place. Their solution was for me to bring her back but I'm not drugging her a second time and driving 25 minutes each way because they didn't check their work. Would've liked to be a regular customer. Oh well. Update: changed to five stars. CitC reached out and were very sincerely contrite. We did end up taking Moira back in and she spent another couple of hours getting pampered and came out looking fantastic. They gave her a second bath and spent a good amount of time going over what they missed before. Both my girls now look the best they have in years. Thanks team!

The team here was absolutely fantastic, I don’t have enough kind words to say how great they were with my kitty. All services were explained to me thoroughly and are reasonably priced for the level of care (I paid about $350 for a pretty wide range of services). The grooming team sends out a text to update you, and also puts together a little ‘report card’ afterwards going over the services your cat was given and how they handled it. it’s very cute and puts my mind at ease knowing how everything went. We also got a free travel tag for my kitty’s carrier! overall I cannot recommend this place enough. Awesome place and I would definitely trust them with my cats again!

I took my long haired cat, Nana, to cats in the city for the first time last weekend. I was a bit hesitant due to the price and because the last time Nana was at the groomers she had a bad experience. She loves getting brushed but would not allow me to do anything more, Even with brushing daily her fur still felt very thick. Any time I would try to do anything more she would get really upset so I decided it’s time to leave it to the professionals. I dropped her off in the morning- when they took her to the back I could hear everyone doting on her and I felt reassured. When I picked her up I got a detailed report and they even found out she is actually a boy! LOL she just had so much fluff I never noticed. I picked her up expecting her to be shaken up but she was calm and seemed to enjoy her new do! She is so soft and silky and seems so much more comfortable with all that undercoat gone. So was it spendy? Yes, BUT I would pay it all over again for the way they treated my Nana. Thank you Cats in the City team for making MR. Nana look fabulous and making her feel comfortable!

Best place for kitty grooming!! I feel comfortable taking my fur baby Mina here. She is a very extra fluffy Ragdoll and her fur gets compacted no matter how much I try to keep up with brushing her and she hates it. She has been here twice and both times she has come home light and airy and right back to her normal self. Very happy with service, I will keep bringing her here. Thank you Cats in the City - TANDEM Cat Grooming Team you are appreciated !!! Picture of her happily sleeping on her blanket after all the hair was removed.

I took my ragdoll cat, Isabella, to Cats in the City today for a tandem grooming appointment. I’m naturally an anxious person and have always done my own pet grooming because of trust issues, but this place completely put me at ease. The staff is incredibly professional and clearly knowledgeable about cat behavior. They walked me through the type of grooming Bella needed and explained their process, which was very reassuring. We dropped her off around 9:45 AM and received a text around noon letting us know she was ready. She got the full package: deshedding, teeth brushing, nail trim, bath, sanitary shave, and bib trim. They also email you a little report card of what occurred during the visit. Overall, a great experience and I feel really comfortable bringing her back.
