In Sherman Oaks, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

This is Parker's 2nd lions cut with Sam and I'm just as happy this time as the first. 1st pic shows before I took her in the first time. My girl is about 18lbs and she was struggling to clean her bum area. And even with frequent brushing you can see her coat was not great. After 1st visit at pickup I could tell she had a good experience by how calm she was. Took her like 2 days to get comfortable with her new do. The 2nd time she knew exactly what happened and immediately was happy and relaxed when we got home. She loves this cut and how it makes her feel which makes me very happy. Last pic shows couple of months growth- she just gets soft and fuzzy. If you are looking for the best, then go here. The studio is super cute and clean - and quiet! Being the only pet there during their service is the ultimate VIP experience. Sam is delightful as well. Knows her stuff and has good energy. We cat owners know how important that is. Worth every penny. We are clients for life!

I was very nervous about taking my cat to a groomer for the first time, but as soon as we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The groomer was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly put my cat's well-being first. She took the time to explain every step of the grooming process, which made me feel much more comfortable. The appointment never felt rushed, and I really appreciated that we were able to stay and wait there while our cat was being groomed. It was obvious that she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend Catington to anyone looking for a caring and professional cat groomer, and I will absolutely be bringing my cat back.

Samantha at Catington saved our lives and helped Our cat feel a whole lot better. We have a long-haired Persian cat who hates to be brushed. And for some reason, she does not groom herself. We were left with a cat that had extreme matting and knots. I had no idea what to do to help her. Three groomers had already turned her down because of her temperament. Samantha tackled it head on and I truly can’t believe how great she was even with our crazy biscuit. She was patient, but didn’t let biscuits drama get the best of her. Biscuit looks amazing and the best part is that she no longer has the horrible knots and matting that we’re making her so uncomfortable.

Samantha was amazing! She had great suggestions and we ended up deciding to go for a full lion cut. It ended up super cute and she did such a good job:) Mikasa (kitty) was nervous and a little panicky yet Samantha let her take little breaks here and there so she would be comfortable enough to continue What a great place! Highly recommend 😊

Samantha was amazing! She groomed my stray cat with such care and professionalism, leaving him perfectly clean and smelling great. He initially had a lot of fleas and ticks, but after her thorough work, he looked and felt fantastic. It was clear she treated my cat with great attention and care. I really appreciated the 1-on-1 service, as it meant I didn’t have to worry about my cat interacting with others or potential conflicts. While my cat was being groomed in the salon, there was a comfortable waiting area outside for customers. They even had a small fridge with sparkling drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch. Time flew by, and in just about an hour, my cat was ready and looking amazing! For the price, I’m extremely satisfied, and I’ll definitely book with them again in the future!✅✅✅✅✅
