Columbia is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Columbia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Maryland's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

They are SO SO amazing. I decided to switch out vets when my 16 year old cat started to get sicker. And I realized that the Countryside animal hospital was just meant for rich people. Not every day to day folks. These guys here saw my cat when initially it was a follow up. But sadly he got sicker. So it turned into an actual visit. Forget about vaccines, etc. Since than my cat has been going through so so much. And they have been there every step of the way. Also they treated him in front of me, instead of taking him back where I could not comfort him. They had hydraulic tables that you could lower in order to administer the fluids faster. Also they taught me how to administer the fluids from home. To make his little life easier. The vet has been ON POINT. DR. Blare is the best ever I have encountered. Where as other vets will make you visit them non stop for any communication. We have felt free to email her with updates. And she will respond with the corrected treatment plan. As well the office staff, they have been so so amazing, keep in mind, they may be limited to what they can do, so do email the doc. But over all, this has been the BEST veterinary experiance I have had withou

My family has been coming to Cat and Dog Hospital of Columbia for years (three generations of dogs) and we have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are always willing to answer questions and address concerns. Being able to email questions to the office has been extremely helpful for us in the past. Would absolutely recommend this Pet Hospital to anyone looking for a new vet!!

Wonderful staff, cozy, waiting room.and the doctor was extremely friendly.I would definitely recommend coming here for any of your fur babies. They took care of my sweet boy spark. He had somewhat of an ingrown nail , but they also did a full check up to make sure he was okay. I'll definitely be coming back.

I've been coming to Cat and Dog Hospital of Columbia for a few years now. As someone who moves frequently for work, it's always hard to find someone you can trust with your pup. The staff has been fantastic and they've always taken great care of us. It's very obvious that everyone who works here truly loves what they do and the pets they serve. I would highly recommend checking them out. You won't be disappointed.

Third year. No complaints. I like staff and Drs here. They make sure I understand what my dog needs at every stage of her care. They even recommended calming medication for my dog because she's super anxious at vet visits. 🌹
