About Carmen's Pet Grooming

Carmen's Pet Grooming is one of the pet groomers listed in Laredo, Texas. The business is registered at 220 N Zapata Hwy, Laredo, TX 78043; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Laredo is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Laredo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

DO NOT COME HERE. I know people say "i never leave reviews but...." but i truly never leave reviews. BUT my mom has taken her dogs here for a few years so on a trip to Laredo i decided to bring mine as well. my dogs are 6 and 4 years old they had never had any issues at the groomers until i brought them here. the day we took them Carmen looked overwhelmed and sighed at us when we came in. We told her that we could come back another day if she had too many dogs to get through but she said it was fine. So, I leave my dogs with her and when I pick them up a few hours later, they're acting a little strange and had a few nicks and cuts on them but it wasn't too too bad so we just moved on. The next time I take them to our regular groomer in San Antonio, they tell me that they weren't able to get either of them groomed because they were aggresive. Again, we've never had any issues before. Fast forward, I had to take them to a groomer who specializes in "aggressive" and anxious dogs here in San Antonio and have them on gabapentin so they were a little less anxious. This groomer was an angel who said she was willing to work with them no matter what. We discover that one of the dogs was to

No. If you care about your dogs, dont come here. After the sister explained that the nerves were too close to the nail and couldnt be cut any shorter, she tried charging me full price of the nail trimmings and didnt even bother cleaning the mud off. Thanks for not trying a file or grinder to shave off the square edges.

Very experienced groomer. I have a Shih-Tzu have taken my dog to alote of groomers in Laredo petco ext. And Carmen does a better Job than all the other groomers I've gone and more important my dog goes in excited and he is excited when i pick him up. In the other groomers he would be sad when I would pick him up.
