I adopted my cat Titan through Care Humane, and I cannot recommend them enough. They are helpful and knowledgeable, and were clear about Titan's problems before I adopted him. He is the sweetest boy. Please consider adopting from them or donating to support their cause!

Brinley attended her first year of camp and enjoyed it so much! Her older sister is returning for her third year next week! We are so thankful to have the experience and this wonderful humane society that does the most for all the animals!

We have (over time) adopted three perfect kitties through yall and it was the best experience! The fostering and adoption process was incredibly easy and smooth! The staff there is excellent at communicating, and they were very helpful throughout this process. We are so very fortunate to have given these sweet angels a home and it’s all thanks to Care! 🫶❤️‍🩹 (they really love to birdwatch)

We recently adopted a new family member and the entire process was easy and quick. The online questionnaire was simple to complete, and we were able to see online where each cat was located. We visited PetSmart and spent time with a few cats, then completed the adoption over the phone the next day. We stopped by to pick up the vaccination and microchip information, and then went to PetSmart to bring our new addition home. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish!

It has been over twenty years since I last adopted from the Human Society. A lot has changed 😂 A few things to note to make the experience go more smoothly. 1) Fill out the adoption application and get approved before you go (could take 48hrs). 2) Make sure you bring your current veterinary records on your animals. I didn’t have these, but thankfully I have a very good relationship with my veterinarian and he made a call for me. 3) Have a few pet options, because from the time you fill out your application and get approved, the pet you want may get adopted. 4) Ask if the animal has been neutered/spayed because this may be an additional expense you’re not prepared to pay. I was under the impression that the fee you pay for the animal covers their neuter/spay and it does not. The cat we adopted was 6 months old. We would have to have him neutered in 7 days to get a $50 refund (which would not cover the actual veterinary cost) and we are not a low income family so we do not qualify for any spay/neuter programs. The two young ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful. They gave a run down on the cats and their personalities, which I love. All in all, it was a good experience. My
