Christopher was great at handling our dog-reactive GSD. She listened to Christopher and enjoyed her walks with him. We are very happy with Christopher’s punctuality and updates on expected arrival time. Thanks for your help with beautiful Shepherd!

Christopher sent us plenty of photos and videos throughout the stay, which made us feel really comfortable and reassured. He took really good care of our dog, and our dog was super happy when we got back. This was our first time using Rover, and it turned out to be a great experience. We'd definitely recommend Christopher!

Found Capitol Paws online looking for a dog walker for a friend who had fallen and was going to be house bound for 1-2 months and needed a dog walker for her poodle ASAP. I contacted the owner, Chris, and he responded with a call to my friend very quickly (she is elderly and prefers talking to people rather than texting) and was able to arrange to meet her and her lovely poodle very quickly. She told me Chris is very easy to communicate with, very good with following instructions about handling her dog and in understanding any of his quirks. My friend told me that Chris has been wonderful walking her dog, is very kind and respectful and has been very flexible and accommodating in scheduling in accordance with his other commitments. I highly recommend Chris and Capitol Paws. I had not met Chris in person, but based on my friend's recommendation, I contacted him this week and met him yesterday to hire him to walk and feed my dog this Saturday. We'll be away for most of the day for my mom's 100th birthday party. My cocker spaniel warmed up to him immediately! We went over walking and feeding information including her issues with some separation anxiety and aggression towards some othe

We left Lucky, our 9-year-old shepherd-lab mix, with Christopher for a week. It was the first time we engaged Christopher. Lucky usually has some anxiety during dropoff and with men, but Christopher immediately sensed it and decided to take him for a walk before I left. I appreciated that a lot. On past occasions, the anxiety has often meant Lucky doesn't eat for 1-2 days, or has an upset stomach--none of that happened this time. We got pictures and videos every day, and Christopher was responsive throughout. We will definitely want to use his boarding services again for Lucky.

Just had the most wonderful experience with Chris. He is so good at what he does-we have an older sweet dachshund but very set in her ways and Chris knew exactly how to reach her and care for her. He was so easy going and understanding, I left on a plane feeling so comfortable. His communication is superb and he connects with pics that really ease your mind. So lucky to have found him!!!
