Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Albany follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I took the adult HVAC program this past year and the experience was not great. It started out good, we spent the first month or so doing electrical and it was very hands on. But once we stopped that and started heating we were just doing the same stuff over and over again. The depth was not very deep. The instructor became less hands on as the course went on and there was a lack of direction. Once we got to refrigeration and air conditioning, we were back to more hands on. But once again we reached a point where we werent doing anything new and it was just a waste of time after a certain point. There were not any progression exams throughout the course. The student's level of skill was all over the place due to never being graded on anything. Some students definitely should have been weeded out earlier in the course. There definitely needs to be some changes made.

The HVAC program is a joke. They don’t have a real teacher. It is just someone sitting down and talking like he is in his living room for 4 hours straight. The classes has no notes, no exercises, no information on the board, no study of the book. It is just 400 + hours of BS. It is the most tedious and mindless thing I ever done. You are better off doing something online.

I have had the worst experience with this school. Do not attend. Everyone who works here is extremely rude and mean. After being told I would recieve college credits when the time came to apply them to the college of my choice they did not accept them. After calling many times I was put on the phone with a woman named Diane. She did not listen to what I was saying nor did she care. I was cut off and hung up on. They are extremely unprofessional. Do not attend.
