Canine Touch Restorative Bodywork For Dogs

Dominoe, our 13 year-old, Australian Calhoun, started seeing Terri at Canine Touch, about a year ago, in 2024. He was having severe mobility issues. A dog that could easily outrun me 3 years ago, could not get on or off the couch, much less likely run or play outside. We had exhausted vet visits with medications the either didn't work, had severe side effects, or was just affordable. After our first session with Terri we could see a noticeable difference in his mobility and attitude. You could see he was in less pain. After 3 visits he was easily up and down our porch steps, even funning and playing in small burst. The extra year that we got to spend with our beloved dog, getting to run and play was absolutely priceless! I would recommend anyone having pain or mobility problems with their animal to seek out Terri with "Canine Touch". She is amazing! She even offered to come to our house when we couldn't get out. She does amazing work with absolutely no side effects and no medications.

My dog was experiencing serious pain in neck and shoulder and Terri worked on her to point that she no longer needed pain meds. She stayed in good healthy shape and thru Terri’s treatments we became a believer in this bodywork. We are grateful for what this did for her and the new life she was given and pain free. Terri has the touch.

I have known Terri for years and her approach to animal care and welfare has always been exemplary. She has been donating time to my service dog program, Service Dogs of Distinction, utilizing Canine Touch to help our dogs in training relax and release any tension in their bodies due to physical or emotional strain. Canine Touch is a very effective, non-invasive approach to dog wellness. Highly recommended! Marsha Wyatt Service Dogs of Distinction

My 8 yr old border collie Piper loves to run & play. She especially loves running in Fast CAT competitions. She all of a sudden started randomly limping on her front leg. Vet couldn’t find anything wrong. I tried multiple things & she would get better for a bit & then limp. This went on for 6 months. I found Terri & decided to give her a try. She is so kind and caring in their sessions. Piper absolutely loves her. And the best part…she has not limped once since we started going to her. I highly recommend Terri. She is amazing at what she does.

I first met Terri at a local dog event and I am so happy she approached me. My dog was 17 and starting to struggle with mobility. One hind leg in particular was very turned in from a previous ACL injury. After just a few sessions, that leg was completely straight again and his gait greatly improved. Teri is gentle, kind, and her calm demeanor was a comfort to both me and my aging dog. It was clear he enjoyed his sessions, as when we entered her office he would immediately lay down in the floor and begin to relax. Bodywork remained a regular part of Henri’s treatment plan until it was time to let him go. As a professional dog trainer, I feel confident referring Terri to clients for both physical difficulties and emotional needs as they relate to canine anxiety. As a dog mom, I cannot thank her enough for her support.
