We can’t recommend Carlos enough! Training a deaf dog requires a special level of knowledge, patience, and creativity, and Carlos exceeded all of our expectations. He took the time to understand our dog’s unique needs and taught us effective hand signals and communication techniques that have made such a difference. Our dog is more confident, responsive, and happy, and we feel so much more connected because of everything we’ve learned. The entire staff is incredible. From John, who always starts the mornings with a friendly smile, to Tina, who was so helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, everyone has been amazing. They truly make an awesome team. They are welcoming, professional, and genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners. They’ve also been incredibly accommodating with our work schedules, allowing us to drop our dog off early and pick them up later when needed. That flexibility made the entire experience so much easier and completely stress-free. Thank you, Carlos, John, Tina, and the entire team for your dedication, patience, and outstanding care. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares, has experience working with deaf dogs, and goes above

Canine kingdom has been awesome in training and watching our year and a half old German Shepherd puppy. Our dog loves Carlos the trainer and Tina who has home boarded him as well and taken great care of him. He completed the knight school and crown champion trainings and the result is a more obedient, confident and off-leash dog! Carlos is a very experienced, calm confident trainer and was able to transfer what they practiced everyday to us as the owners. He answered lots of our questions about our dog’s quirks and negative behaviors and the tips he gave us have all worked great. The format for training is very organized which was a great environment for learning for our Shepherd. The dogs are all trained to be neutral and relaxed all in the same room together on their own place beds. It’s incredible to see and a great option for the dogs to practice discipline as opposed to a more chaotic playgroup which our dog doesn’t do well in. So nice to bring our dog somewhere everyday where we trust Tina and Carlos completely. Our dog loves them and is happy to be there and engaged all day.

I don’t know where we’d be without Canine kingdom. First time German Shepherd owners. We have a high maintenance puppy named Shadow. Tina and Carlos are the best! Carlos is very good and knowledgeable with his training. Tina has even watched Shadow and boarded him at her home for us when we were out of town. We had Shadow in basic training and daycare here and then just regular daycare with play group. He got kicked out of play group because he was herding all the dogs. (We knew this would inevitably happen once his instincts started to kick in) We decided to remove him from daycare, because keeping him at home was more affordable than paying to have him in a crate there. After a grooming appointment, we found out about the “Off-Leash” training program that emphasizes on the “place” command as a foundation, with Carlos. Shadow wouldn’t be in a crate all day and he’d be getting training in a place while waiting for his turn to work with the trainers. This training has been incredible! We are blown away with how well trained he is now, and how calm and attentive he has been in public without a leash. Carlos doesn’t only train the dogs, he also trains the owners as handlers in t

I have been taking my mini assuie here for about 4 ish months and the first two of those were with his amazing trainer Carlos!! He did absolute wonders. Zeus went from eating carpet not knowing anything besides when you told him to sit he would lay down lol. He no longer does that walks amazing on a leash and even better off leash, recalls amazing overall very pleased with training!! Doggy daycare, me and Zeus would agree is just as amazing and there packages are worth it!! Tina at the front desk is amazing as well and super caring about every animal. We have also gotten a couple haircuts and bless Lauren’s soul for being patient with him and making him look snazzy!! Overall amazing experience and i have nothing bad to say at all!!

My pup, Tater Tot loves coming here for training and fun! Tater is a corgi and can be stubborn (listens when it’s convenient for him) and requires time to burn off excess energy. Dog Training & Grooming Downers Grove has significantly helped with both. Tater has been coming here for the past 3 months and I have seen a significant difference in obedience and he comes home pooped (much appreciated sometimes)! The trainers are energetic and very knowledgeable. The one-on-one sessions made me realize how important it is not only for my dog to be trained, but also me! We will continue to come here for training/daycare in the future! I’d recommend this facility to anyone and their pet.
