Louisville is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Louisville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Kentucky's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My folks took their Bernese Mountain (Axel) to Camp Fur Kids for a bath and grooming appointment; and were beyond satisfied, if that’s possible, with the experience and more specifically the care and attention to detail of the groomer (Vox). They had taken him to other places around the city but nobody has done a better job than what was given at Camp Fur Kids. It’s not shocking then, that they will be repeat customers and have told other friends and family members about their experience. As a pet owner, you won’t have to worry about the love and care your pet is getting, as they supply it in bulk. Which is what a pet owner deserves out of an establishment. In closing, I highly recommend sending your pets to Camp Fur Kids, and am thankful Louisville has them in their city!

I took Buttercup to Camp every Wednesday pretty much since they opened. She loved it there and always came home totally worn out. Vox also did a great job with grooming. I so appreciate the care Jason and Jill take with our fur babies! I know Buttercup loves her new fenced in back yard, but I wish it was close enough to keep taking her to Camp because I know she misses her friends, both human and canine alike.

This place is amazing! The place is so clean and welcoming. The staff are so friendly and love the dogs. I also get all 3 of my dogs groomed here by Vox and she is amazing. So gentle with the dogs and they always look great! I couldn’t recommend this place more!!

We can no longer say “Camp” in the house without our dog Buster going crazy, as we have taught him that Camp means he’s going to Camp FurKids. I’ve never seen this dog get more excited about anything than getting to go to Camp FurKids. He will practically drag you to the car, then whine the whole drive over because he can’t wait to get there. Buster can be a handful, yet the staff have always been super friendly and nice. I love the fact that you can watch the dogs through the live stream webcams they have set up in the building. It completely takes the worry out of if your dog is being mistreated or if another dog is being too aggressive with them. I cannot recommend Camp FurKids higher!

I’ve been taking Woodford to Camp FurKids since they opened in the area. The facility has been a great space for Woodford to play and socialize with his friends. The staff have always been attentive, friendly, and have shown lots of care and attention for my dog. I have no concerns when I leave Woodford with the Camp FurKids councilors because they treat him as if he was their own dog. I’m looking forward to the addition of boarding and webcams in the facility.
