Rosie and RJ are truly magicians. I was having a difficult time managing my 6-year-old Golden, Goose, in a variety of situations. He is very high-anxiety, incredibly stubborn, at times reactive to other dogs, etc. and these behaviors coupled with my lack of control were making everyday life difficult for both of us. I started with private lessons with Rosie because I had a lot of anxiety about board-and-train programs. Between Goose not being crate trained due to his confinement anxiety and my admittedly unhealthy attachment to him, I was pretty convinced a board and train just wasn't for us. After only a few sessions with Rosie I trusted her completely. I knew Goose would be a great candidate for the program and, more importantly, that Rosie and RJ would make sure he felt safe and comfortable while in their care. Sending him was truly one of the best decisions I could have made for both Goose and me. Rosie and RJ didn't just work with him to address the behaviors that were making it difficult for us to enjoy our days together, they worked just as hard with me to make sure I understood what Goose needed from me and had the tools and confidence to maintain everything he had learne

rosie and rj totally changed me and my pups lives for the better :) my dog basil struggled with reactivity towards dogs and people that included lunging and barking to the point where it was difficult to take her places and she was very anxious almost all the time. after the 6 week boot camp (which they very graciously extended to 7 weeks to accommodate basils needs and my schedule) basil is a completely different dog. she is so polite, much less anxious, and incredibly good at controlling her impulses to react to her triggers. not only did they train her but they trained me! and continue to support us after training by addressing any questions or concerns I have about basils training. there is no other option for dog trainers in my opinion, rosie and rj are the real deal and I would recommend them to anyone :)

We are incredibly grateful to have found Calm on Command when we adopted our 10-week-old puppy, Rio. As first-time dog parents, we had so many questions, and while the internet is full of advice and training videos, nothing compares to the hands-on guidance and personalized approach that RJ and Rosie provide. Their training truly caters to both the dog’s needs and our lifestyle. From a very young age, we were able to clearly communicate to Rio what is acceptable and what isn’t. They helped us find an effective way to connect with our timid little boy, and the results have been amazing. With consistent training, we’ve seen Rio grow into a strong-willed, confident puppy who is no longer afraid to stand his ground and has even started making friends at the dog park. We purchased the 4-pack private lessons and have only completed 3 so far, yet the progress Rio has made in such a short time has been incredible. We’re now excited to enroll him in their 2-week board and train program to continue helping our hound explore the world in a safe and structured way. We truly couldn’t recommend Calm on Command enough! P.S: here is a picture of our pup watching our homework videos with us🤣

We recently worked with Rosie & RJ to board & train our sweet pup Magnolia. Magnolia stayed for a 4 week board-and-train and we were so pleased with our experience. They made it so easy from drop-off to updates to pick-up, we felt like our pup was so well taken care of. Since bringing Magnolia home, she now knows the rules and follows our commands so much better than before being with Calm on Command. Rosie & RJ provided us with thorough homework and our graduation session was full of information to go home with. Now, Magnolia enjoys getting picked up on the bus to go out for hikes with the group on Thursdays! We're so glad we found Rosie & RJ and would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality training.

I am so thankful to Rosie and RJ for what they have brought me & my dog Jelly Bean! Before the 4-week board and train, she was a ball of anxiety- scared of everything, which resulted in excessive barking. It was difficult to have company over, socialize with other dogs, and meet her needs. Now, she is excited to meet new people and other dogs, and is confident on walks and out in public. The best part is, she is still the same dog with the personality I love so much. I've gotten so many compliments on her behavior and have to pinch myself! I loved that their training focused on building her confidence from the inside and rewarding good behavior, not punishment or negativity. They also prepared me with everything I needed to keep up the training myself. Rosie & RJ really went the extra mile, showing her so much love and care. They truly want lasting results for all their clients and are so supportive after the training as well. I already have Jelly Bean signed up to board with them for an upcoming family trip, and I know she will be so excited to see them! I missed her every day of the 4 weeks, but I know that time will be made up with all the fun things we get to do together now.
